It keeps going back to the same question over and over. ### 1/5 — Honestly terrible *2024-10-04* Horrible customer service. I’ve tried to fix my orders EVERY WEEK and EVERY WEEK they change my order BACK to the default which is ridiculous because they gave me 90% VEGAN options…WTH? No thanks, I don’t want vegan cauliflower quinoa bowls FOR 4 months straight ?! I can’t even stomach the texture of their watery overcooked spinach in most of their bowls they’ve given me. I love veggies but they are overcooked and stringy. I have messaged multiple customer service reps in the app and none has even responded at all. There’s zero info to fix or cancel your order…nothing. They see my messages and have been ignoring them, 3 separate reps now. And when I got a single response it was “oh sorry I can’t do anything, want some fresh food instead?” If I wanted fresh food the food bank is right down the street. So now I’ve had a third week completely wasted!! ### 1/5 — Useless App *2024-10-04, version 2.1.1* Shows me options to customize orders, then doesn't let me customize anything at all. I got an entire order without any meat this month. I'm starving, and I've lost an unhealthy amount of weight, especially for my BMI. ### 1/5 — Unreliable! *2024-08-30* The app itself is fine, but Tangelo's service is inconsistant and unreliable. I require a specialized diet, and despite specifying as such when I signed up, Tangelo frequently sends me food items that do not comply with my dietary needs. I have contacted customers support multiple times, and this problem has not been resolved. Fortunately I do not rely on Tangelo as my only source of food, because if I did, I would be forced to choose between going hungry for a week or eating food that's bad for my health. Bottom line: the Tangelo service is great when it works, but very frustrating when it doesn't (which is most of the time). How hard can it be to send me the correct food every week!? ### 1/5 — Unusable *2024-07-15, version 2.0.0* At the initial launch once downloaded, the app is asking for access to notifications and it just stops at that screen. Not only does most of the food not taste great, some ingredients in the meals are not even cooked all the way. For example, dry beans are still very hard and need to be boiled, not microwaved for 2 minutes. I am switching to a better option called Lifespring Home Nutrition- healthy AND delicious. ### 1/5 — They act like they listen, but are all talk *2023-07-08* The times that I received the food I ordered, it was good. however, those times are few and far between. When I gave tangelo specific delivery instructions, they said they would follow them, but they never did. Half of my orders were stolen or didn’t make it to my door. Then, they decide to make up for it and deliver four weeks worth of food in five days. I don’t have space for all of this food in my kitchen. We are also a vegan house and they delivered meat multiple times despite me requesting the vegan option. Do not get this service, especially if you have dietary restrictions. What a waste of time and money!! ### 1/5 — wrong dates *2023-05-22, version 1.40.53* The app says X day is the last day to edit; try to edit before that date you get “sorry too late to edit” and “it’s already been shipped”. This app is totally screwed up, was fine last year, but something has happened. ### 1/5 — Not worth the price *2021-10-14, version 1.40.16* This box is not worth the $125 I am paying for it. At max maybe $45. What a rip off 🤬 ### 3/5 — Appreciation Note: *2021-05-22* It was great receiving those free foods but 2 boxes mostly contain the same food items. Lots of carrots and cabbage. Sometimes the bananas are rotten. Contents of 4 boxes fits well in just two boxes since they fill only less than half of each box. Last delivery was only one week apart instead of three. Appreciative of the kindness and generosity of your store donors especially the 99 cents store where most of the items come from. My fridge is stacked with veggies on the verge of going bad, rice, canned beans, oinions, potatoes because that's all they have been sending. Too much to keep up with. You can’t get in touch with support by phone thru never answer and when you leave message they don’t respond back to you. Is this app even real?? ### 1/5 — Terrible! Food arrives damaged and hours and days later! warm and have to toss *2025-08-23* I have had four orders. The first one I didn’t even know arrived. They never told me, and for some reason I saw it sitting outside my door at midnight, I tossed it in the trash. The second order came and I watched the girl walk it to the door and that one was fine. The third they delivered to the wrong house and three days later after it’s been sitting outside the man’s door the neighbor decides to bring it up to me. Tonight‘s package they claimed it was delivered this morning. It just now arrived to my house. The delivery driver drove up and put it out there. However, it is hot and damaged. The containers are damaged, open, warm and leaking, meaning it’s sat in somebody’s truck all day long. My service is now canceled. I want nothing to do with this company. They’re going to make somebody very sick if not, kill them with bad food. I feel bad for the Insurance company who are paying for this they need to cancel all subscriptions with this company. ### 1/5 — Pointless *2025-06-30, version 2.5.3* Got this app via my employer and it says that my health plan isn’t accepted. The last 3 deliveries have been 100% inconsistent. I edit my orders to be chicken based meals, but right before the order gets confirmed, it reverts back to “veggie stir fry”. My fridge is stacked with veggies on the verge of going bad because that’s all they have been sending. Too much to keep up with. I’ve contacted support and they have offered some help, but never permanently corrected the issue.
