## What is Tangent Whiteboard?

Tangent is a shared whiteboard built for teaching and tutoring.

Open a board, share its room ID, and your students see every stroke as you write. Decide who can draw, and work through worksheets together in real time.

MADE FOR APPLE PENCIL
• Natural handwriting with palm rejection
• Hold at the end of a stroke to straighten a line
• Double-tap your Pencil to switch to the eraser and back
• Pinch to zoom, two fingers to scroll

TEACH TOGETHER
• Students join with a short room ID or an invite link
• You choose who can draw; everyone else watches live
• Raise hand and board chat
• Several pages per board, with extra writing space when you need it

BRING YOUR MATERIALS
• Attach images and PDFs, then write on top of them
• Shared graphing and scientific calculators on the board

TANGENT PRO
• Built-in video call on every board you own, with a monthly allowance of video minutes
• Up to 50 boards instead of 3
• Students join your boards and calls for free

Tangent is free to use with up to 3 boards. Tangent Pro is an optional auto-renewing monthly subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it in your Apple ID settings.

• Class controls: mute, turn off cameras or chat for a student, mute everyone, or remove someone
• Add YouTube videos that play for everyone at the same moment, search YouTube from Tangent, and take photos with the camera
