Delete. ### 1/5 — What a mess! *2013-06-21, version 1.4* I have a lot of gripes with this app., but the concept for the game and the graphic design are good. Here are my main complaints: There is no difference between this app and the paid app when you install both on your device. both icons are the same and the title text is the same. The game doesn't rotate with the screen The pieces don't click into the board so you have to jiggle the pieces until it tells you you've won. The paid app is totally unusable. Do not buy, unless you don't mind winning without even placing a piece. I wish the pieces could be rotated with multi-touch gestures. It seems people have been complaining about this since at least September, which tells me that the developer is no longer actively supporting this product. It's really a shame because the product looks quite good. Takes a minute to get used to rotating the pieces but then it's quite intuitive. 4 stars because an ad covered part of one puzzle, making it impossible for me to solve because i couldn't see it. The rotation tool is a smidge tedious, but for free...I love it. My kids really enjoy it too. It would be better if the pieces didn't have to be EXACTLY in their places to solve the puzzle. Or if the pieces "snapped" into the shadow, Wherever they were placed, not just their "correct" position. ### 3/5 — Does what it is supposed to do but... *2017-04-10, version 1.4* Nice shapes and many forms to fill in, the interface is a bit sloppy and imprecise, and when completed you must have all pieces lined up exactly to be done. The pieces do not "lock" in place, a bit off line and the timer keeps going, you must fiddle with each piece until the game recognizes that you have finished. I don't really like timed games, it would be nice to turn it off and have "relaxed" mode, what's the point of timing these exercises? Basically not bad but not great either. ### 3/5 — Not quite there yet *2011-08-21, version 1.1* I am still looking for a user friendly tangram app to use with students. This is almost there but pieces don't completely cover the background or click into place which is confusing. Pieces should snap in place even if they are not in their correct spot. It is no fun trying to move each piece a micron or two just to get the puzzle completed screen to come up. Also would be cool to vary the assortment of shapes and colors.
