Tanguear is the community of those who live for tango. Born in Trieste from a group of tangueras and tangueros, it exists for one reason only: to make you feel part of the tango community, wherever you are. Because tango isn't just steps and music. It's the abrazo of someone you've just met. It's the milonga you walk into alone and leave with ten friends. It's that look you share before a tanda, without saying a word. On Tanguear you'll find all of it: • The people — meet other dancers, follow those who inspire you, find again the ones you met on the floor. • The places — discover where the community is dancing tonight, near you or on the other side of the world. • The belonging — leaders and followers, beginners and maestros, all on the same floor. No judgement, no hierarchy. Also inside the app: • Tickets — buy for the right night, pick your entry type, and gift one to a friend. • The night at a glance — who's coming, who confirms the milonga is really on, and how it went according to those who were there. • A partner — say how you want to dance that night, as leader or follower, and let people find you. • A bed for the night — hosts offer a room, a sofa or a mattress to dancers travelling in. Italian, English, Spanish, French, German — and the language that unites us all: tango. We're not an app built by programmers. We're tangueros who built the place we always wished existed: a home for the community, made with love in Trieste. Three abrazos and a hand on the heart. See you on the floor. ¡Eso es Tanguear! ## Version history (last 5 releases) ### 1.3.11 — 2026-08-26 Orchestras, clubs and schools now have a real profile: the line-up and who plays what, the venue on a map with directions, course timetables, teachers with their badge, files and recorded lessons. Follow a festival and hear about its new dates. Festival links now open in the app. Search from where you are with one tap, and read any profile in your language — we translate it for you. Faster start, and a night that has passed no longer tries to sell you a ticket. ¡Eso es Tanguear! ### 1.3.10 — 2026-08-22 A school's page finally reads like a school: the courses are a real timetable — what, when and how much — with the next workshop on top. The teachers are people again, with their face and their name, and recorded lessons become a proper list. Following a school now takes effect at once, no waiting. And publishing an event is never held back: publishing is always free. ¡Eso es Tanguear! ### 1.3.9 — 2026-08-17 The app has a new look: colours and spacing now come from the original design, on nearly every screen. Night mode on your profile and on the poll of the day. Gifting a ticket takes two clear steps. Fixed: the date badge shows the weekday again, a recalled search visibly starts, and an arriving notification can no longer close the app. ¡Eso es Tanguear! ### 1.3.8 — 2026-08-06 A brand-new event page: organiser, tickets by type, guests, reviews and a live "Happening now" banner, all in one place. On recurring milongas you now say you're going date by date. Signing in with Google, Facebook or Apple is smooth again for new accounts. Spanish, French and German are fully translated. Plus clearer messages when photo access is off, no more false "no connection", and many fixes to shopping, chat and notifications. ¡Eso es Tanguear! ### 1.3.7 — 2026-08-01 This time we worked on event links: • Tap a milonga link and it opens right in the app, no detour through the browser. • Hold your phone to the NFC tag at the door, or scan the QR on the poster, and you land on the event. • Organizers now find their event QR ready to print and share. Fewer steps between the invitation and the dance floor.
