## What is TanjiroAI?

TanjiroAI is a private AI chat assistant that runs right on your iPhone. Ask anything, plan your day, ask about your photos and create pictures and videos, with no account, no ads and no tracking. After its downloads, chat works even in airplane mode.

WHAT YOU CAN DO, FREE
• Chat about anything. Pick Tanjiro-Tiny for the quickest answers, Tanjiro-Speed for a balance, or Tanjiro-Quality for deeper ones.
• Get things done: check and add calendar events and reminders, draft messages and emails, start calls, get the weather, maps and directions, track packages and start the day with a daily brief.
• Talk to Tanjiro. Speech is recognized on your iPhone, and replies can be read aloud.
• Ask about a photo or a file you attach, and find your photos by what they show.
• Search the web and your email (Outlook, iCloud or other IMAP mail, read-only).
• Memory you control: save facts, and let Tanjiro recall relevant earlier chats. Turn "Remember past chats" off in Settings if you prefer.
• You stay in charge: Tanjiro asks before it changes anything, and the action log shows what it did.

TANJIROAI STUDIO: ONE-TIME IN-APP PURCHASE
• Drawing: make pictures from a few words.
• Photo magic: change a photo with words, combine up to three photos into one picture, try styles such as pixel art, and turn pictures into stickers.
• Videos: make short videos, or bring a picture to life.
• Tanjiro's own voice for spoken replies.
Try it first with 3 free pictures and 1 short video, then unlock Studio once, with no subscription. Family Sharing is included. Studio needs an iPhone with 6 GB of memory or more, such as iPhone 15 or later; on other iPhones it isn't offered.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• Tanjiro thinks on your iPhone, or on your own paired Mac when you turn on Use my Mac. No chat is sent to a cloud AI service.
• No analytics, no ads, no tracking.
• Online tools are off, ask first (the default) or allowed, and you choose. In Ask, Tanjiro shows exactly what it will send before anything leaves your iPhone.
• Picture safety is built in. Tanjiro doesn't make nude or sexual pictures or videos.

OPTIONAL: USE YOUR MAC
• Pair your own Apple silicon Mac with the free Tanjiro Desktop companion for local chat and supported creative work.
• Requires macOS 14 or later, separate model downloads, and both devices on the same local network. Keep the Mac awake with Desktop running.
• Mac access is free. Creative features keep the same Studio purchase and free-try rules. No cloud AI account is needed.

GOOD TO KNOW
• Tanjiro's AI is large. Tanjiro-Tiny and Tanjiro-Speed arrive with the app; Tanjiro-Quality, search, chat memory and Tanjiro's voice download in the background. Drawing, video and other extras download when needed. Keep several gigabytes free; Wi-Fi is recommended.
• Needs iOS 26. Tanjiro is built for recent iPhones: the more memory, the better.
• Combining photos and longer videos take a minute or more, and results vary: try again for a different take.
• Tanjiro can make mistakes. Check important answers.

• Combine up to three photos into one picture: attach them together and say what to make, like "put my dog on this beach" (Studio).
• Tanjiro-Tiny, the model every iPhone starts on, is better at everyday actions and at picking the right tool.

### 1.0.1 — 2026-10-23

Tanjiro's own voice now reads every reply. Replies with a name or an unusual word, and the "Hi, I'm Tanjiro." sample in Settings, could switch to the iPhone's voice or go quiet. Now they're read in Tanjiro's voice.
