## What is Taonote Journal?

Taonote Journal is a mood journal built on the Chinese calendar. Log how each day feels in 30 seconds, and over time it shows you which of the Five Elements — Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, Water — bring out your best days.

EVERY DAY HAS AN ELEMENT
In the traditional Chinese calendar (Ganzhi), every day carries its own element. Taonote Journal shows you today's pillars at a glance, so each entry is tied to the energy of the day.

A 30-SECOND DAILY RITUAL
Rate your day — good, okay, or rough — and write one line about how you feel. Seal it, and an Echo card comes back: two keywords and a short verse written from your own words and the day's element.

WATCH YOUR PATTERNS APPEAR
Energy charts and a 30-day timeline show how your days rise and fall. As entries add up, the app finds which elements keep showing up on your good days.

FIND YOUR LUCKY ELEMENTS
Your Five Elements and Ten Stems charts combine your birth chart with your real entries to suggest your favorable elements — with simple, everyday ideas for leaning into them.

MEET YOUR ELEMENT TYPE
Enter your birth date and time to see your BaZi (Four Pillars) chart and your Day Master — your element type, a bit like a zodiac sign but calculated from your exact birth hour.

A PERSONAL REPORT, WRITTEN FOR YOU
AI deep reports read your recent entries through the lens of your chart: emotional arcs, energy trends, and quiet patterns worth noticing.

ASK (MEMBERS)
Talk through a choice, a timing, or a mood with a companion that knows your chart and your rhythms.

OUR PHILOSOPHY
Your own records come first; the Chinese calendar is the language we use to reflect them back to you. All readings are AI-generated from your entries and your chart, for self-reflection and entertainment. No predictions, no medical or financial advice.

SUBSCRIPTION
Daily journaling and Echo cards are free. AI deep reports are available as a single purchase ($1.99) or with membership: $6.99/month or $49.99/year, which includes 3 AI readings per day and Ask. Payment is charged to your Apple ID. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and can be managed anytime in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
