The “show trail status on map” option doesn’t seem to do anything. There’s also no legend to the map that I can find. Able to track 4 hrs of skiing on less than 25% of battery life. Use it every visit to the ski valley and keeping track of Taos at a distance. And it would be nice if it showed updated run closures. Well made app and it is an excellent choice for the Local Skier. ### 4/5 — I really like the tracking feature *2016-02-28* One of the first times I used the Taos tracking feature, I had trouble with my phone running down. I found that the tracking feature would work with the phone switched to airplane mode. Without it on airplane mode, my phone was continually looking for a cell phone tower and would run the battery down quickly. The tracking feature keeps up with how many vertical feet you ski per day, how many miles skied as well as mapping all the runs that you ski each day color coded as to how fast or slowly you ski a particular area. On our best day skiing, we had a little over 18,000 vertical feet skied. Not too bad for a couple of 60+ aged skiers. There may be some features you need Internet access to use, but the tracking feature doesn't need it. IMO the tracking feature is the best feature of the ap. ### 2/5 — Does nothing on the mountain *2016-01-27, version 5.4.0* This app is nearly useless. There is not supported WIFI on the mountain and you need to have Facebook to use all of the features. ### 3/5 — Lift/Trail Info *2016-01-16, version 5.0.8* The app doesn't give info on which trails and lifts are open. This is occurring on my iPad and iPhone with up to date IOS. But one easy fix: don’t make me use Facebook. I no longer trust Facebook as their multiple breaches of trust in the past years have proven including having a huge part in delivering an asshat for a President.
