## Most critical reviews (9 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Awful

*2018-12-21*

This game is terrible. The controls don’t work. You just move in one direction and die within seconds. And the ads are long and annoying. I get why there are ads and why they are needed. But having to sit through a 30 second with annoying and loud music is just unbearable.

### 1/5 — Nothing but adverts!?!

*2018-08-25, version 1.3*

No game here - it’s nothing but advert after advert. Utter rubbish and such a waste of time.

### 1/5 — Pathetic

*2016-11-04, version 1.0*

Unplayable garbage

### 3/5 — More like the old Atari than the standup

*2023-12-05, version 3.2*

I love that someone actually made this- one of the best in the old catalog of 80s arcade games.
I do wish it was a little more polished, with virtual joystick controls and smaller man, smaller enemies in the standup with similar laser firing delays and increased firing speed as you level up.
This feels more like the Atari home console version that just didn’t do the real arcade game any justice.
If you can make the original I’d gladly buy it. This one should be just the appetizer…

### 3/5 — Better than ever! 😁👍🏼

*2022-05-08*

It’s been several years since I wrote my original review and it seems that the developer listened and improved the controls.

You get an extra ⭐️ for that, however, there are a few flaws in the game:

1. If you stand close to a robot, but not physically touching, you are killed.

2. There was an exit at the top of the screen and because I managed to have the high score, when I attempted to exit the room, the opening turned itself red, ending my game.

Two problems = ⭐️⭐️ removed.

It’s a fun game otherwise!

### 3/5 — Could've been better...

*2017-07-05*

This game looks pretty good, and runs fine. The sound effects are what I'd expect. The only issue is the controls. They're simple and they work, but I would've much preferred a d-pad and shoot button over tap to fire and press and hold to move control set.

### 5/5 — A great little retro remake

*2022-08-30, version 3*

Looks and sounds great! If you like the original arcade game, you’ll love this redesign for mobile. The controls are new, but I would say this works far better for touch screen controls and introduce a new challenge altogether.

### 5/5 — Good remake, the other guy is wrong, ads are rare.

*2020-12-08, version 2*

It’s a faithful version of the original but the controls are a bit hard to get used to. Everything is the same as it was in the 80s, with evil Otto causing you if you don’t move on quick enough. The protagonist can shoot, the robots shoot back and talk, can fire in all directions and you can die if you touch the walls. It’s the same game but renewed and harder because of the damn controls!

### 5/5 — Fantastic

*2016-11-27, version 1.0*

Just like the arcade
