I really appreciate the discount and all of my former databases transferred easily from Tap Forms 5 to Pro. I am alb etc get the same functionality and more. Fortran, COBOL, Basic. Today, the ONLY database I use is Tap Forms. It runs on my Mac, my iPads, my phone, and my wife’s iPad and iPhone. It keeps in sync between them, meaning make a change in one database, and all the others update quickly. Very flexible and easy to design a database and forms to fill it out. I’m still discovering all the useful things that one can use this app for to better organize life. I have databases with over 30,000 individual records and they are handled with ease. This is probably the best database software I have ever come across. And the developers are so friendly and helpful. Thanks to everyone concerned for creating this. ### 5/5 — A Delightful Software *2026-07-29, version 1.3* I first bought this software in 2017, when it was recommended for those wishing to keep track of their pens/stationery. I used it for that, then quickly moved to using it to track my family’s businesses. Excellent for keeping track of clients, phone calls with customers, and businesses you work with, without having those contacts cluttering up your personal address book. I was on the fence about upgrading to an annual subscription, but the developer, Brendan, is a good sort and very responsive. I want to support him so this software keeps humming along and working for me. Highly recommended. ### 5/5 — Great Bang for the buck *2026-07-24, version 1.3* At first I was reluctant to pay for this as a subscription, but once I did, I do not regret it. The number of features and capabilities this application can do is phenomenal. Just with the calculated fields across linked forms (tables) is great. I was a big MS Access user and this application goes toe to toe with it from a feature point of view. Not sure how to do something, just ask google and tell it you are using tap forms pro and up comes the answer. Branden’s videos are a great place to start as well. The pick list feature is worth its wait in gold. I have no issues paying for the yearly fee just to ensure that the developer can keep adding great new toys to this app. ### 5/5 — Outstanding database program (app) *2026-07-22, version 1.3* I've been a Tap Forms user for many years - first on various Macs I have had and then on my iOS devices. When the PRO version came out, I switched and, although I dislike the trend to subscriptions, I have subscribed to the yearly option. I have come to understand and appreciate the problems developers have with Apple constantly changing (upgrading?) its OS. This requires constant updating which detracts from new development. I confess I do not come anywhere close to using all the capabilities the program has to offer. My “needs” are simple. But I've always updated to the latest version because I am able to afford it and I believe updated versions run better and more efficiently. I keep telling myself that someday when I have the time I will get serious about delving into Tap Forms Pro many functions. Another real plus for me is the prompt support that is offered to the very few problems I have had over the years. Brendan has always responded within a day or two with a clear and successful solution. My experience is that kind of support is rare. The fact that this man takes the time to respond so promptly is a huge plus in my opinion. In summary, Tap Forms Pro is an outstanding program (app) for keeping track of any data one wishes to. Anything from simple cataloging various items to complicated calculations. Das Erstellen und Anpassen eines neuen Formulars geht sehr schnell, wenn man einmal das Konzept verstanden hat. Super ist die ‚Tabelle‘, also kopierte Positionen aus einem andere Formular. Der JS-Editor ist sehr komfortabel und die Log-Konsole nützlich. Eigene Layouts, die auf IOS und MacOS laufen sind der richtige Weg, hier ist noch Potential drin. Sicherungen und Export biete professionelle Einsatz, der Sync z.B. per iCloud ist schnell und problemlos. Was ich mir wünschen würde: Pickup-Liste auf gefilterte Daten („Suche“). I recently upgraded to Tap Forms Pro. As a senior, I don't usually make changes to software I already know, so I was a little hesitant. I needn't have been. The Tap Forms program is excellent, but what truly stands out is the support. Every time I have had a question, the developer has replied promptly with clear, helpful answers. He is patient, approachable and genuinely cares about both his product and the people who use it. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Tap Forms Pro. It is an outstanding database program backed by exceptional customer service. ### 5/5 — Best Db ever *2026-07-14, version 1.2.4* My favorite Db was Tap Forms 5–that is, until I migrated to Tap Forms Pro! It is excellent, and I would be lost without my books db on both my phone and iMac. Even now that it changed to a expensive subscription model, no improvement…. Just cashing in… . Picture still disappear. When trying to duplicate a data set the software crashes. No stability. During the 10 years, I bought twice a full version. THat doesn‘t count anything now. Therefore I will stop to use this app and I can‘t recommend it anymore. ### 1/5 — Subscription doesn’t work *2025-09-15* I bought the Mac and iOS bundle. The app works on the Mac but on iOS it limits you to 10 records; the "Restore purchase" does nothing; and clicking on "Subscribe" just says that "you are already subscribed". Not very useful. Also, the app shows strange file names for two files when I only have one database. **Developer response:** My apologies for this issue. If you email me at support@tapforms.com I can help you with these issues. I’m not sure what the strange filenames are, but if you could send me a screenshot that would be helpful. Ich ziehe meine Frage zurück, ein Abo kommt für mich nicht in Frage! **Developer response:** On the Upgrade to Tap Forms Pro screen in Tap Forms 5, there’s a “Send to Tap Forms Pro” function which will do all the work for you just by clicking that one button. It will archive the whole database document, then send it over to Tap Forms Pro and then import it all there. So it’s a very easy click solution to migrate to the new Tap Forms Pro. ### 1/5 — Terrible App Prior version was better *2025-07-06* This version is terrible. Filter do not work correctly. The does not contain function doesn’t work. Note fields on IOS devices in Dark Mode show solid white blocks of text which are are readable. Syncing is worse that tap-forms 5 (never thought that would be possible). Don’t get me started on the subscription service, now if you use this program your data and working is being held hostage each year until you pay the ransom fee token using the program. This was a simple process and the certainty of continued support is worth the price. On the few occasions I have needed support, the developer has been both prompt and focused on solving the problem - especially given the 8h time difference between Alberta and UK. I was so frustrated. I contacted Support and Brendan replied. He emailed me many good suggestions and even sent a video. And he was so patient! Fortunately my computer literate husband recommended the Tap Forms App which had already been on the market for at least 4 years as it served his own geekier needs for data management. I soon discovered how easy it was to migrate my in-progress document and continue it with a lot of new features within (then) Tap Forms 1.5, The app has since evolved with newer versions, most recently Tap Forms Pro. Tap Forms does far more than just inventory which I dwell on only because my ~2 gigabyte inventory file is not just word descriptive and numerically helpful but has multiple photographic views of my individual collectibles. The developer, Brendan Duddridge, continued to improve his brainchild and it works seamlessly for big business programmers as well as the more casual users like me. It has been referred to as a digital filing cabinet but it does so much more. If you need to manage data, the developer has done all the hard work so you don't have to. He is also extremely helpful. Without reservation, I highly recommend Tap Forms Pro to you. ### 5/5 — Great database, with actual customer support *2026-08-12, version 1.3* I’ve used Tap Forms 5 since 2023 and just migrated over to Tap Forms Pro. Ever since the first setup Brendan has provided fast and personalized support to answer any questions. This was no different with the migration to Pro. Tap Forms is easy to set up and use, and I’m no tech wizard by any stretch of the imagination. I didn’t use a template but created my database from scratch in 5, completely based on my needs. I love how it’s adaptable when needs change. I’m an artist and use it to store info and photos of the work I make, the exhibitions each piece has been in, where it’s located, etc. The migration to Pro and data transfer worked without any issues.
