Tap Forms Pro has a much better search engine for Japanese text. The previous Tap Forms 5 version requires spaces to be between every word in order for search results to be found. But Tap Forms Pro does not require that so searching works much better in Japanese. Without it I would be brainless. It is my offline storage. Easy to use and I do not even use all the available features that it comes with. Thanks Brendan. Again I needed help when Apple changed their OS for the iMac and the IOS for the iPhone causing issues with the syncing. Thanks to a very quick response from Brendan and his suggestions how to solve it I was up and running again quickly and easily. I have found increasing uses for this program with very few limitations. I have created databases to take care of passwords, sign-on to websites, personal finances, asset management, photography, image index, and a whole host of other useful things, including personal medical records. It is an awesome and easy to use database to handle all the little pieces of information that are so vital for our digital life nowadays. It can easily be customized to serve whatever purpose you have in mind. Even though it’s easy to use it also has power, security and synchronization capabilities. Every year, the author of the program keeps improving it and making it better. I haven’t tried the pro version yet, but I’m sorely tempted. Slowly, I added more green coffee stock and had different roasting profiles for different beans. Then I thought “How am I going to keep track of all this information easily?” I did some web surfing and came across Tap Forms. It was easy to set up a database from scratch for the information I needed to record. The program is very flexible and allows you to add information fields for everything I needed: dates, quantities, descriptions, photos and screen shots, etc. You can do pick lists to keep from retyping the same information. You can search, sort and print. It is very customizable and easy to figure out, I love it for keeping track of everydya thigs like recipes, automobile maintenance, details of the work I perform (so I can check what I get paid against my own records). There are always going to be issues, Brendan has been very helpful, and prompt with replies, when I have been unable to find the answers on my own. Then… the night before the show… I opened up Tap Forms… and 3/4ths of my data was simply gone. Thankfully, I had printed out all of my information just a couple of hours before the loss… so I was OK… Don’t buy this software.
