I spent less time on God of War (PS4) than on this game. Lots of care and dedication is felt through every slime you kill. We do hope you are enjoying it. As for the issue you have, it’s not a bug. The artifacts have a chance to drop. The only one with a 100% drop rate is the crown. All bosses drop an artifact but some people have worst luck with it than others. 😅 What I’d recommend for you to try is to put some prestige points into the luck branch of the tree. As many as you can and then try beating the bosses. Keep in mind that resetting the skill tree cost 10,000 gold. You can also reset the skills as many times as you want with no penalties. We encourage players to experiment with as many builds as they’d like to try. So, in your case a luck build is the way to go. There is a branch in particular that is geared towards artifact luck. Once you have as many points allocated into the luck branch. I’d say go to the third boss. His artifact increases luck. Combo the luck build with that artifact and you should be able to drop the rest no problem. A couple bucks is a small price to pay for such a great experience. The community has been incredible, and the developers are impeccable. Many of the updates are based solely around requests from community members, and they are always looking to make the game better for us. I am very excited for what comes from these people in the future. The curve is rather steep, but that’s by design. Those are endgame levels. As for the stages, anything past stage/phase 2 is meant to challenge players. If you only play casually, don’t feel pressured to beat anything after phase 2 on the first 8 worlds. The beautiful pixel look of the game doesn’t really match with the current ui. Idk how to describe it but I would have it redesigned.
