It remains challenging even after level 500 which is unusual and the ads are not particularly intrusive. The one annoying feature is the regular rotation of blocks colour from blue to rose to yellow - is that the yellow is not sufficiently differentiated in tone from the pale background to effectively play. This is a pretty common accessibility issue that should be easily corrected - it would be great if thy would do that. It would have been a game that I played over and over, BUT………. Why the hell do you have to put an Ad on every 10 seconds - IN THE “ENDLESS” MODE, YOU CAN ONLY MOVE ABOUT 5 or 6 SQUARES AND THEN AN AD COMES ON!! I realise that you have to Advertise - BUT C’MON!!!?? What a joke, you could at least wait until the game is Finished and then play some Ads!! This wonderful game lasted about 15 minutes on my iPad and then because the game wouldn’t let me get very far along - I DELETED IT!!!! ### 1/5 — Google Runs 2-Minute Long Ads Constantly *2025-09-03, version 1.43* Update: Sept 3, 2025. Google is now running two-minute-long ads, with no escape button. Trying to finish a level in less than 30 minutes is almost impossible. The ads include Google Chrome, Vita Mahjong, Hexa something, etc. I used to enjoy the game except for the constant ads. March 2025: But twice in the last 48 hours the McDonalds ads have caused the app to freeze. I moved on to other games and checked back every few minutes to see when the game would reload. It takes several hours. Update: it’s March 8, 2025, and the app is stuck on a McDonald’s ad again, this time en espanol. I’ve waited 5 minutes for it to go away. That’s ridiculous. Please fix this bug. It’s March 11. Every time the McDonald’s breakfast ad in Spanish comes on, it crashes the game. Please pull the ad off your system. Update: that bad McDonald’s ad is gone. Thank you. Now the biggest problem is the multiple 60-seconds ads that come on every time I ask for 50 more taps or ask for a whack from the whacker. A game can’t take more than 30 minutes! One game! I’m pretty much going to move on unless you can stop with the 60s and go back to the 15s, and 30s. 7.12.25 Some of the offending ads with no escape button include Vita Mahjong, Jolly Mahjong, Vigor Mahjong, Spider Solitaire, solitaire.com, and Google Chrome. Played first two games of a few blocks, then up came two very long adverts. Why would you do that? Web designers should try it out themselves. They too would not put up with two long adverts after one minutes playing. With advanced games the only way to remove all blocks is to watch 3-4 videos of other games or just items to buy. You don’t get bombarded with ads and the actions are smooth when dragging the puzzle around. I don’t like the white on yellow view, not enough contrast and causes some pretty bad eye strain, but if I get a yellow puzzle I just close the app and when I open it again I’m right back on my puzzle with a different color! Easy and no dashboard to navigate through - you’re just instantly right where you left off.
