## What is Tap?

Tap-n-See Now is the first app for iPad and iPhone created specifically for children with cortical visual impairment (CVI)! The bright colors and fun pictures in this world-renowned cause and effect app will also appeal to babies and young toddlers without CVI.

Design & Game Play:
Tap-N-See Now was designed to incorporate Dr. Roman-Lantzy's common characteristics of CVI.

Adorable hand-drawn images dance around the screen one at a time, appealing to a child's preference for movement. The use of a single image against a solid background helps eliminate visual clutter while the use of highly saturated colors makes the image easier to see. Touching the image results in a reward sound as the image grows in size.

Customizable - Full Version Only:
All aspects of the full version are fully customizable to meet your child's needs. Both the animals and background can be set to your child's preferred color. Particular images can be chosen to adapt to the level of complexity that works best for your child. How you interact with the image and what kind of reward is triggered is also highly customizable.

All these settings make it possible for the app to adapt to your child's expanding visual and physical ability!

Full Version Settings:
The settings allow you to:

Choose between 5 loveable animals or purchase any of 11 additional image packs.
Choose from a variety of highly saturated background and image colors.
Select how big the image appears on the screen.
Select how quickly the image moves around the screen.
Choose from 10 unique reward sounds to play when the image is touched.
Select from a variety of other motion and touch settings that make the app accessible even for those with limited movement.

### 2/5 — Sound doesn’t work on my iPad Air

I bought this app for my 3-year-old patient and it was great on my iPad mini 3. I now have an iPad Air and the sound doesn’t work. I’ve even deleted and reinstalled the app to see if it works. I’m very disappointed, and so is my patient!

This app itself is great, however it indicates you can upgrade to a paid version that isn’t actually available. Either the upgrade needs to be made available, or the features included in the unavailable upgrade need to be included with the free version.

This app is wonderful! It is the only thing my student has responded to. However, I would like to upgrade to the paid version and am unable to.

Great app; however my sound doesn't work and I have tried on both my iPhone and iPad. I even purchased the app so I know it has nothing to do with the lite version. I just wish the sound worked so my child could get the satisfaction of tapping the iPad screen.

This is wonderful, the bright colors and dark background really capture the attention of my student with low vision.  One big wish- we are working on using sounds to request things- is there a way to make the objects voice activated?  That would be amazing!   Thanks for a great resource!  I look forward to more apps from this developer!
