## What is Tap N Set?

The ZMF Tap N Set™ chess clock can be programmed with this app available for iOS®. The app can be downloaded for free from the App Store. Just enter the time settings that you want to use and tap the cellphone against the clock between the two LED indicators.

Note that the time setting must be a valid one for the clock to receive it. For example, a time setting of 10 minutes for one player and zero minutes for the other won’t be accepted by the clock.

When programming the ZMF Tap N Set™ clock with a cellphone, the phone will vibrate and the clock’s LED indicators will momentarily blink to indicate that the operation was successful. The location of the NFC antenna in a cellphone can vary depending on model. The best way to find out where the antenna is located is to try tapping the cellphone against the clock using the bottom, middle, or top part of the phone until it connects.

## Key features

### 5/5 — Cool Design

*2023-05-22*

This is an amazing idea having a phone application to be used as a function of the chess set, making it easier to use the chess clock. Absolutely amazing, simple and easy to use. Just hover it over a ZMART FUN chess clock and it can automatically set its time to the one setted on the app. Cool, and simple.

### 5/5 — So far very impressed

*2021-12-20*

My first ‘digital’ clock after replacing my windup chess clock- very impressed with the many settings, presets and ease to use. I was thinking I would have to connect it via Bluetooth. To then find out it uses NFC technology, meaning any phone that has the app can set it up is great. Just tap it on the top and play. I bought the touch version of the clock, as I like that it doesn’t have a part that could break over time. Very happy I purchased this product.
