## What is Tap?

Tap helps children who don't speak — or speak only a little — say what they want.
Tap a picture and it speaks aloud. Tap a few and they build into a simple sentence: "I want juice."

Small fixes that make a real difference day to day.

• The Speak button is never covered again. The small grown-up buttons — search, First–Then and settings — now sit in their own row above the sentence instead of on top of it.
• The sentence strip shows each word's picture, so it matches the cards your child tapped.
• The Recent tab is now translated in all 27 languages.
• When you make a card from a photo, if Tap can't find a clear subject to lift onto white, it now tells you instead of
  quietly using the whole picture.
• Customizing the board is quicker — pick a category with the same chips your child already sees.
• VoiceOver now names the hide, picture, voice and reorder buttons in Parent Mode.
• A calmer, more consistent look across the grown-up screens.
