### 4/5 — Bring back the pixel look

*2020-09-11, version 3.3*

I love this game, I remember being disappointed when they first changed the look, then they brought the old pixel style back and it was great, but now they brought the new style back, and we want the pixel style back. Any chance you’ll change it?

### 4/5 — Layout Preference?

*2020-05-20, version 3.2*

I know many players prefer the old 8-bit layout and how to note looks, but personally when I came back to this game after seeing it reverted, it made the game less comfortable. The hold notes blends in with the background, and when you miss the note the background zoom in, these things are making me frustrated with the game. Before the revert, I loved the ranking system where there is S, SS, SSS, and etc, it makes me feel achieved, feel good after getting all perfect and being rewarded with an SSS knowing I didn’t waste my time. I know and understand that it’s impossible to switch between the version constantly, so I hope the devs can see this review and make so players can choose which layout they want, just like backgrounds before the revert. Also I really liked the shop and the robots, it helped a lot with achieve SSS, and I hope devs can also add that back. Thank you!

**Developer response:** Thank you for the review. We are really sorry for reverting the game but it is true that majority of the players found it more engaging and fun. That said, we may release modern ver in the future.

### 4/5 — Bugs

*2020-05-06, version 3.2*

This game is great, but the new update has a glitch where it says you miss when you tap perfectly.

### 4/5 — New update stile

*2020-05-01, version 3.2*

I might be one of the few people that actually like the more modern style (Non pixelated version) more, it felt more responsive and was easier to see the rings. Now don’t get me wrong I like the pixel version but I would enjoy to other version back if there was a way to switch between the two stiles that would be awesome or make a separate game for the old style I would download that in a heartbeat!

**Developer response:** Hi Tarazor, we don't think that we should revert the game anymore. For those who prefer the modern version, we may release the modern version as a different game.

Thank you for your support and understanding.

### 4/5 — Oof

*2020-04-11, version 3.1*

This game is so unresponsive on songs that you have to tap multiple times a second like Blanket Fort. On slower songs this game is fun but I have another problem which is the if you run out of health. It says “You Fail.” and nothing else. It’s kind of annoying I was doing really well and the it gets to the fast part and I mess up it just says “You Fail.”. All in all it’s a really good game to pass time and if you a few spare bucks to invest in it you can buy gems and buy songs with them.

**Developer response:** Thank you for the review. Blanket Fort is definitely a tricky one(it is kinda fast and you'd want to pace your tap). One correction though, we have not yet implemented any monetization system, all the gems had be earned through playing the game.

### 3/5 — New Update

*2020-04-06, version 3.1*

I enjoy playing this game and I love the original pixel style, and even though the new menu and hub is a lot cleaner I did lose all my previous progress, so I’ll have to redo everything, but I do enjoy the music and playing so I’m not too upset by it. I do believe that the original pixel style was better though and instead of this new 2D version. In this case I’d say less was more.

### 4/5 — Good but

*2020-04-01, version 3.1*

I’m kind of mad because I loved the old version and the new version it’s just... not normal I mean you could have added more songs but changing it? Really?

### 4/5 — K so the new update is good, but....

*2020-04-01, version 3.1*

This new update is a bit more stable, but I don’t like the new graphics. In fact the new design makes it harder to see what your doing, and the effects kind of bother me. If anything, I prefer what it used to be. I feel the old graphics were a little more original, and different in a good way. I like the old kind of 8-bit look, it was a little more pleasing to look at. So I’m kind of upset that was taken away. These new graphics just don’t feel the same, it’s almost too smooth, and too sleek. Ik you may not change it back, but I do prefer the old graphics, they seemed to fit the game better. Again, the game seems to run just a little. Also I’m a bit disappointed that my old data was not there. I logged on to a completely changed game, and started back at square one,

**Developer response:** Hi, Squirrelyman! We are sorry for the reset and it won't happen again. I don't think we'd completely change back the pixel style but we will bring back the pixel elements in the future updates!

### 5/5 — What an update

*2020-04-01, version 3.1*

Man, in one update you fixed basically every problem. You upgraded the visuals, made it so that dang black line is finally a color you can see, and you made it progression based. Hats off to you dude, you did great.

### 4/5 — Good Game

*2020-03-30, version 3.0*

Has great music that has you bumping to the beat as you tap along. Really loved the pixel aesthetic but am open to change, would maybe love for an option to change back and forth. Only downside is all my progress got reset with the new update :(

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Please switch back to the old version

*2021-04-22, version 3.3*

I got this game back when it worked,
And then they completely changed the graphics, music, and feel of the game. The update also made it very, very laggy- and nearly impossible to play, unlike before where the touch controls were responsive and you could tap to the beat. They changed it back from that to the old version because of the large negative response, but have since flip flopped again and changed to the new and very frustrating to play version. I’m writing this review to ask the developer to please change it back to the version that works.

### 1/5 — The new update 😓

*2020-09-08, version 3.3*

The new update is just terrible it isn’t as nice looking as the pixel version and they changed it to this version again witch just isn’t a good idea because everyone loves the pixel graphics a lot more than this new version I don’t know why they changed it again but I think it should just stay the way it was or at least have a way to change back the new menu is just overwhelming unlike the pixel graphics menu witch was simple please change this as soon as possible 😓

### 1/5 — Hard to play

*2020-05-18, version 3.2*

I had this game beat a couple months ago, then it got updated. I tried playing it but it made no sense. Instead of the dots where you had to tap at the same time being golden, and the ones on the left being blue, and the ones on the right being red, they were just a mix of colours. It kept saying I wasn’t taping them because you were supposed to be holding on the one side, but it looked like you were supposed to be tapping them, super good game until the update, now it’s the worst game I’ve ever played. I’m so mad that I wrote a review, haven’t ever done that before.

**Developer response:** Hello, we've reverted the game back to the original pixel art style. We are sorry for the bad design decision :(

### 1/5 — Great game! But...

*2020-04-30, version 3.2*

This is a great game I love to play this when I’m bored or just wanna be my previous scores but I never liked the pixel version of the game it was always super glitchy for me and it’s difficult to see the notes when you have to hit them, it freezes a lot right when I’m gonna hit the long notes and I end up missing it. Love the game just not the pixel update. It would be nice if you could chose if you wanted the smoother better graphics version or the original pixel version. This new update completely ruined the game for me.

The responsive when you tap the notes it very messed up and wrong, I liked this game before it was much smoother but this pixel feel and look just isn’t it there’s to much crap in the screen and it’s super glitchy. Was a good same...

**Developer response:** Hi there, thank you for the review. We are going to fix the note visibility issues in future updates. As for the modern version, we might release a different game for it.

### 2/5 — Not the same game.

*2021-08-17, version 3.3*

After not playing one of my favorite games i came back to a completely different one. I don’t even know if I wanna keep playing it. It looks bland with the bouncing guitar person. The charm that the 8bit version had is gone.

### 2/5 — Why...

*2020-09-21, version 3.3*

The game WAS fun, a huge reason I liked this game was because of the pixel look to it and the track style to the notes and honestly I was looking forward to a new update for the songs. Why did you go back to the future style?!!!? It’s awful...

### 2/5 — New update is...good?

*2020-04-02, version 3.1*

So the smoothness of how the game runs now is great, but absolutely hate the new graphics. The effects and design of the graphics makes it harder to follow, I actually really liked the 8bit style and even liked that you could change your dj avatar to make or female. This new graphics set up isn’t pleasing to the eyes at all. A positive note, I like the menu set up and the initial UI and still the music is definitely on point. So it’s not all bad.

### 3/5 — Big sad

*2021-04-03, version 3.3*

This game was so much better until the new update to the way u earn songs and how it looked it looks so pale now and they have done this before if they really feel like changing it so bad I would like to at least plz like to have the option to change between both this and the pixelated version

### 3/5 — love it except one thing

*2020-05-30, version 3.2*

i've really been enjoying this game! good music, great look, fun to play. the only thing is on the notes you need to hold for a duration, the bar connecting those notes is difficult to see against the dark center, and even harder on the night backdrop. love this game so much but that does make it a little frustrating when maybe it could be avoided

### 3/5 — Why revert back?

*2020-05-12, version 3.2*

I always liked the cleaner graphics better than the pixels ones so I was disappointed to see it reverted to the pixel art. Also the other format was way better as you could favorite songs so I could choose the ones I want to play again easier. You could have bought things that helped you, for example more health or more exp from missions. I also feel that being scored by letters like S, A, B, etc. was better that the 3 star system.

**Developer response:** Hi there. We reverted the game as we saw the modern version underperformed in various aspects(retention, game session etc), this was a difficult decision but we had to do what needed to be done to continue developing this game. Thank you for your support, we may release a different game for the modern version in the future.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — I love the reversion! Some suggestions too

*2020-10-06, version 3.3*

I really like the reversion than how it was before. The only thing I missed about the the one before was the songs. Haunted was a good difficult one. As easy and as hard as the songs are, it really gets you focused and when you finally complete the song it’s relieve and an achievement. I was also looking at the other review about the song difficulties and I was thinking the same thing! Being able to do different song difficulties would be fantastic. My last thing that I’d suggest is that you should definitely add more songs. I was bummed out when I got to the last one XD I really did enjoy the game. Y’all did great on the game, and keep up the good work!

### 5/5 — Feedback and question

*2020-09-16, version 3.3*

I love this game! I find myself playing this everyday during my break and I encourage others to play it too. I love that you added the new layout back as well. I was wondering if there is a way that I can submit my music to you for you to put in the game. Is that possible?

### 5/5 — Pixel art!

*2020-09-11, version 3.3*

I really appreciate the return of the pixel art! I love it greatly and it’s nice to see it back! Best luck with the future development of this game!

Edit: At first I disliked the updated version but the more I play it the more it grows on me. True I will miss the pixel art but I feel this version is a lot smoother. My only complaint is the lack of color choices. Can’t wait for more!

**Developer response:** Hey! Thank you for the review. We'll try to bring the pixel aesthetic in the future.

### 5/5 — Online Levels?

*2020-06-03, version 3.2*

I really love this game and it very fun to play. Though I would like the option to make my own levels or online levels. Either making my own song or uploading one into the game to use I think it would be a lot more fun. Sorry this is so short.

### 5/5 — 8-Bit vs Update

*2020-06-01, version 3.2*

This is a small review but has a big meaning to me, a small suggestion would be to add a option to pick from 8-bit and the other more modern style game play I personally liked the more newer look and thought it was more easier and fun to play I really hope something like this could be added- Thank you

**Developer response:** Thank you thank you!

### 5/5 — I want the old version back

*2020-05-19, version 3.2*

It’s amazing game but I love the old version more than the newer version. The guy playing the guitar and having his boost bits were amazing

### 5/5 — Still good

*2020-04-30, version 3.2*

I really like the game but I liked the newer graphics a lot more, the more pixelated version makes it harder to play and doesn’t look as good with the beats , no hate still love the game I just like the cleaner graphics, I don’t know much about game creating and that type of stuff but I think it would be cool if there was setting to change your graphics so the people who liked the newer version could have that and the people who like the 8-bit version could have that

**Developer response:** Thank you for the review. To be honest with you the pixel version is more appealing(at lease from the data we are seeing), which is the major reason why we reverted the game. However, we will continue polishing the graphics for the pixel art and maybe release a different game for the modern version.

### 5/5 — Amazing but less graphics.

*2020-04-10, version 3.1*

I don’t write reviews but I felt like I needed to for this game, I downloaded the game when it was in the 8-bit graphic and I enjoyed it, it really surprised me of this new update that changed the whole graphic view and I really enjoy that but I read another review and I agree that it is harder to see when to tap for the beat as I get blinded with the bright and very active graphics everywhere on the screen, I really enjoy this new update as it still gives that addicted fun action of going along with the beat but maybe less strong graphics would help a lot as it does make it hard to see, but other then that I really enjoy this improvement!!!!!!

**Developer response:** Hi, Thank you for the review. We've reverted back to the old pixel version and will improve the overall gameplay/graphics from there. Thank you for your support :)

### 5/5 — This game is great!

*2020-04-07, version 3.1*

Can we get an update where we can search and play player created levels. Song request” Boy in the bubble” Alec Benjamin

Get you the moon

Made by:kina (the song is made by kina I’m not kina

### 5/5 — Amazing!

*2020-04-04, version 3.1*

downloaded before the update, same fun game but now with some seriously improved graphics / UI. The perfect rhythm game for a mobile device, I’ve literally been imagining a game like this for years and finally FINALLY it’s a reality. You just tap on the left and right side of the screen to hit the notes that come from that direction, it’s got some serious guitar hero vibes and some really catchy songs if you like electronic music. It’s free what are you waiting for!? You won’t regret it

**Developer response:** Thank you for your review. Please share our game with your friends ^ ^
