## What is Tap2Order?

Tap2Order is a management platform for restaurants: QR-code table ordering,
point of sale, fiscal receipts, takeaway, bookings and stock control.

This app brings together two things that previously meant keeping a browser and
a second program open side by side:

• The full management panel — floor, orders, menu, takings, statistics.
• The link to the hardware in the venue — network order printers and the fiscal
  register.

WHAT MAKES IT MORE THAN A WEBSITE
The app talks directly to your printers and to the fiscal register over the
restaurant's own network, which a web page cannot do. And when an order arrives
it raises a native alarm that keeps going until somebody acknowledges it: in a
noisy kitchen, a silent notification is worth nothing.

GETTING STARTED
An active Tap2Order subscription is required. On first launch you type the name
of your venue and sign in with your own account, as in a browser. Connecting the
printers is an extra step, for those who need it.

Push notifications
Orders, table calls, bookings and takeaway orders now arrive as notifications, even when the app is closed. You choose what each device receives.

Payments on a phone
The payment screen has been rebuilt for narrow screens: the total stays in view and the pay button is within thumb's reach.

Fixes
• You no longer have to sign in every time you open the app.
• The alarm now plays the sound chosen in settings.
• Alerts you have already seen no longer reappear.
• If you don't have a venue yet, you can now sign up from the app.
