TapTuck is a freely downloadable app that allows parents to pay for healthy meals at your child’s school tuck shop, school events, uniforms, stationery and more! TapTuck has both a parent facing application and a merchant redemption facing application, which ensures it touches all aspects of the ecosystem at schools. TapTuck allows multiple merchants on campus to sell products and services in app, receive money from a cashless card or display a merchant QR code which users can scan and pay from a mobile phone. I have a special needs child who is sick a lot and have hence lost hundreds due to him not being able to redeem his order or be refunded. ### 1/5 — Good app but very buggy as of late *2025-08-20, version 31.1* This app was initially very good but as of late it freezes. You cannot navigate out side the loading page. You cannot remove old account ### 1/5 — Please get basics right *2025-05-26, version 28.3* Hi there Start with password validation. Check if the validation coded out matches the copy/instruction for user. Then enable virtual cards. This is vital for app user safety. If the password validation was wrong it’s hard to trust the security of banking cards in the app. Thanks. ### 1/5 — Worst Customer Support *2025-05-08, version 28.3* Since the update The app has locked me out of the app and when I try and use the forgot password option it says my number is not recognized and there is no options to use my email address for forgotten password. I have emailed support multiple times and called your helpline but no one has replied to my email and no one answers your helpline. There is STILL money on my app and I cannot order my child lunch! Can someone please get back to me!!!! ### 1/5 — Random unaccounted for deductions *2025-04-11, version 28.1* There’s zero transparency about transaction fees, no transaction history. Money gets taken off my kids’ balances randomly. This app is pretty scammy. ### 2/5 — Painful to use *2025-02-09, version 24.9* Too many clicks to transact when you have multiple kids in same school. Don’t like the separate wallet function . If funds are insufficient then you have to top up. But that cancels out your cart and you have to start from fresh all again. Have to enter your card details in every time you want to top up. The developers responded the first time when I alerted them and gave me a fix which didn’t work and have not gotten back to me again since. ### 1/5 — Terrible and Dark UX *2024-08-30, version 24.9* A top-up process that has been designed to encourage you to keep lazy balance is very sneaky. There are hidden fees for a top up and the fees for a transaction are very high. ### 1/5 — App not working properly *2024-05-16, version 23.9* Please assist, I have been struggling to make an order for my son. I have uninstalled and reinstalled with no luck. The app doesn’t allow me to get to the order tab. Therefore I cannot order.
