## What is TapBack?

Did I lock the door? Is the dog already fed? When did I last change the filter?
Where did I put the spare key? Who has my drill?

These are too small to justify a note, a calendar event or a whole productivity
system — so we carry them around in our heads instead, and then wonder.

TapBack is a one-tap external memory for tiny real-world facts. Set a card up
once. After that, the normal action is a single tap.

SIX THINGS IT REMEMBERS

Did I? — Record that you did something. Front door: Locked, 18 min ago.
State — Open or closed, on or off, fed or not fed. One tap moves to the next.
Last time — When you last watered, changed, cleaned or serviced something.
Where — The last place you put something, chosen from your saved places.
Count — How many coffees, glasses of water or trips outside. One tap adds one.
Who has it — Who has your drill, your spare key or your trailer.

PRIVATE BY CONSTRUCTION

Everything stays on this iPhone. There is no account, no sign-in, no server, no
analytics and no advertising. TapBack works with the network switched off,
because it never needed it.

A NOTE ON WHAT THIS IS

TapBack is a memory aid, not a sensor. It cannot see your door, your stove or
your medication. It only ever tells you what you recorded and when — never that
something is definitely true. That distinction matters, so the app is careful
about it everywhere.
