So I now cannot easily tell when the camera was recording. It used to state “29 Jan at 09:03:48” under the video playing. ### 3/5 — Latest version a step backward! *2023-11-03, version v1.10.11* I have been using this for many years to access my dvr. But every recent update has been a backward step. The latest has taken away the ability to fast view on iPad, the phone version still has it though. The previous update made actually getting in to the app iffy. There have been some functionality improvements over time. ### 3/5 — Last Update Causing Problems *2020-09-25* The last update, 3 days ago, has caused connectivity problems. I have to go back and manually reestablish connection to get things back to working. Otherwise it just sits there lacked at the last time I looked at it. It never behaved this way before. Thank for looking into this. ### 4/5 — How to you set range for 4 cameras? *2020-06-05* I have tried setting the range for my four cameras to the maximum for event motion detection but even when I saved there is no change. My cameras are not recording any events on one of my cameras and barely captures motion on the others. I can’t find any instructions on how to reset motion detection for this app. Please help! ### 1/5 — Works... sometimes *2018-12-20* Pretty primitive, really. Worked great until the last update. Now says it can’t connect to WiFi based device... never mind when you’re off the WiFi. But i have no problem connecting by typing the IP address into the browser window using the same credentials. So that leads me to think it’s the app and not my settings. The support for this product is weak at best. Really wish they would get their act together and just make something simple and usable. ### 1/5 — Issue viewing cameras when not at home *2018-11-07* This app has worked fine but recently I cannot connect to view my cameras unless I’m on my home WiFi. So when I’m away I have no access to my cameras when I’m just on my cellular data. Worthless app. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Works when away from WiFi *2022-08-06, version v1.10.4* The people who are leaving bad reviews because the APP does not work when you are away from your WiFi, obviously have no clue how networking works. The IP address you type in for your home network is not the same IP you use when you are off your WiFi. You must make "two" entries for your DVR. One for home (192.168.x.x) and away (what ever it is). Plus to use it away, you must open the port on your router. It is not the APP's fault, it is your limited knowledge. ### 5/5 — People YOUR settings are wrong *2019-03-23* I have been using this app for YEARS. Works great! People who say they can only access over WiFi- this is a setting in your phone not the app. Go to your phone or tablet settings, go to the settings for the app and make sure it has access to cell. ### 5/5 — Works great *2018-10-22* I don’t understand all the negative reviews. This app has always worked from the first time I installed it. The picture quality is really good and I have been able to go back in time and play back what has been recorded. When will patch be available to resolve this issue? Using a temporary app called 'FingerCMS' for now that seems to work, but the provider of my equipment advised it's not an official app and should check back for the update for TapCMS which should be out hopefully this week.
