## What is TapCount?

TapCount is a professional-grade tool for quantifying visual-motor reaction time. Designed for athletes, researchers, and individuals tracking cognitive performance, the app removes all noise to focus solely on raw metrics.

The interface is infrastructure: High contrast, zero animation, and immediate input registration.

Core Protocols:

Reaction Test: Measure pure reflex speed. React to visual stimuli with millisecond precision.
The Ball Room: Test cognitive inhibition. Select specific targets while suppressing reactions to distractors. (Unlocks after completing 7 or more levels of the Reaction Test).

Features:

Calibration Tiers: Progress from Baseline (600ms) to Elite (180ms) thresholds based on consistency.
Precision Telemetry: Data measured in milliseconds with variance tracking.
Anticipation Detection: Algorithms filter out inputs faster than physiological limits (under 100ms) to ensure data integrity.
OLED Optimized: True black background for maximum visual contrast and battery efficiency.
Haptic Feedback: Distinct tactile profiles for registration, success, and error.

Data Sovereignty:

Local First: All data is stored in the Secure Enclave.
Privacy: No analytics SDKs, no cloud sync, and no account required.
