The only downside to there is no local storage for the app. There should be time taken aside to make money just from add revenue and not from subscription based model. I was able to port over all my old mixtapes in this app and they just worked! They also have insta downloads from mixtape monkey too. Incredible! Playlist building is awesome and I can even share mixtapes to other people. I’ve used a few different apps as such, but I can tell you this is definitely gonna be one of the best ones that I’ve used. We really appreciate you sharing your experience. We do have a play button available in a few places. On an album's page. It's an orange circle with a play icon, located on the right side of the album info. If you're subscribed, in the Library, swipe right on an album and you'll reveal a quick play button next to the pin button. From the track list. Tapping the first song on any album will start playback of the entire album, just like a play button. That said, if it's still difficult to navigate, we’d love to connect and explore ways to improve the app’s accessibility for you. Your input would be really helpful in guiding those updates. The app took me four times opening and closing it before I could even try opening an MP3. The app also doesn’t seem to have basic controls for fast, forwarding, etc. **Developer response:** Great news! We just removed all ads from the platform. Hope you give us another shot. ### 1/5 — don’t download, look for something else *2025-01-13, version 1.0.3* does this app play music? i could say yes, but that would be objectively arguable. this app bugs out so frequently with deleting your entire catalog when you add new music. mb didn’t know i was supposed to know everything i wanted to listen to the first time i downloaded some tapes. i loved easily being able to get stuff on my phone that i could just let play without ads in between songs. but when the app breaks everytime you try to use it i get frustrated and end up going to youtube or listening to something else on DSPs. as the app hasn’t been updated in 4 years i highly doubt the necessary fixes will ever be implemented. go through the extra hoop to set your mixtapes up another way because this isn’t the way. ### 1/5 — Trash *2023-05-20, version 1.0.3* It don’t work no mo ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work *2023-04-17, version 1.0.3* Imported 5 mixtapes two of them worked but the others wouldn’t even unzip. Closed app and when I went back in all my imported tapes were gone, even the zip files smh ### 1/5 — Does not work *2021-04-12* Following instruction but when I import a zip file it does not show up on album tab. I’ve tried multiple different zip files but none work. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled app multiple time but still doesn’t work I was really looking forward to this app but I have been highly disappointed. Developer needs to fix bugs **Developer response:** Are you making sure to tap the the .zip file after importing the mixtape? Also, my downloads aren’t importing properly. I paid for the year! Working with the albums/playlist is weird as they are made automaticlly and sometimes seperate albums and it is difficult to import singles as it creates its own albums and. Overall, I think the ability for playlist would be better. **Developer response:** Glad you're enjoying the app. We've just released the ability to build custom playlists on the latest version as a premium feature. Be sure to update, we're constantly releasing new features. ### 3/5 — Bugs *2023-12-27* First got the app and it worked fine until I decided to add more mixtapes and it deleted all the other tapes I had. This happened before so I just reuploaded the tapes but it happened again and now the app is broken. Will not import tapes anymore. I just deleted and downloaded the app again hopefully it works. **Developer response:** Sorry about all of the bugs in the last version of the app. We've just release our latest version and it's better than ever.
