Uploading media files take forever and videos always NEVER upload unlike the previous version which I had no problems at all. Why fix something that wasn’t broken?

Poor.  Thought it was fixed to be able to zoom into a photo.  Worked for a week now it’s back to not being able to zoom in. Never had this issue with the old version

Could you please address the ‘notes’ input box. Having to scroll up and down through the letterbox view is annoying and then when your keyboard pops up in front of it obscuring what your typing is making it impossible to use! Can we have it the same as the old one please?

The number one reason for me to use the app is to save photos of my child but it now takes much longer because of the “download media” feature which takes more button presses and also much harder to see which ones I want because I have to select from thumbnails rather than full screen preview. Please add save functionality as a single screen press from preview.

The app does not appear to have been tested prior to release. 

Unable to watch videos in the app, audio only with no images. Have to download or access through the browser. What is the point of the app then. 

Notification badge showing despite there being no new notifications. 

Unable to preview documents. So having to download before viewing. Adds more time, more clicks to access. 

The interface is clearer and easy to access. But that appears to have come at the sacrifice of any usability or quality control in development.

There are aspects of the redesign that have improved but there are some that were better in the old app. You have to download every document in order to view it. It would make so much more sense to have a view option as you did in the old app. Uploaded photos you can’t use in landscape in your phone and you cannot zoom so really not user friendly. Videos don’t load well. They either have a black screen with sound or it takes a long time to load. Overall, the experience is not as user friendly as it should be.

Unfortunately with this new improved UI, the videos play only with sound and a black screen. Also, can you reduce the number of clicks/taps changing between schools - I can’t be the only parent where I have two children at two different schools using Tapestry.

The design is good but videos don’t load properly. Either black screen / no sound or no video and sound. Takes a while to load / scroll through pictures. Would be helpful if there was a quick look option on the documents attached in memos as don’t always want to have to save a document. Hopefully an update will sort it soon.

The new version seems to require you to download any attachment to your phone rather than just being able to view in app. All links appear to be blocked “for security reasons” whilst still being available for viewing through the old app. It appears there are still some bugs to sort out here…

Old version was brilliant. New version is useless. Takes FOREVER to upload a video. You think you've uploaded it and then it doesn't work. The old app was amazing. This is a waste of time and effort. Why change something that was working so well?

Having to manually log in every time is incredibly time consuming and I am no longer using the app until this is fixed.

At first glance looks much more modern, but just makes everything harder, slower and less polished. For a start it never remains logged in. Media is harder to view, often the wrong size etc. Even quite short text is truncated and has to be expanded.

Needs someone to do some actual UX design not just add a load of features and pretty layout.

Terrible UI, constantly logs you out (three times in one day), notifications appear over and over again. 

What should be a simple platform to share updates from the nursery to parents is instead a cause of frustration. 

Fix the issues and the review can be changed.

I went into the settings to enable Face ID login

But still every single time I log into the app, it’s asking me for my username and password please fix this

Awful app to navigate now. Not easy to view attachments anymore. Have to enter email login details each time even though I have Face ID and pin enabled

Logging in by PIN or FaceID barely works, zooming in on pictures is clunky at best, uploads are slow, the description takes up much more screen space so scrolling is required... It's very unintuitive compared to the old version, and full of bugs. Currently not ready for public release - should still be in internal testing. Can only imagine how horrid it is for the teachers!

The old version was much better really simple to use no time consuming 
New version photos take ages to upload, to record the observation in the notes box is limited just in the box you can’t see what you typing as it doesn’t allow to open and see what you are typing. Can you make it simple and easy to use please as we are spending inaf time recording observations.

It’s a great app and safe, however since the last update it keeps asking to input user and password every time it’s annoying it should be made easily accessible by Face ID or fingerprint access.

Great app to complement the newly redesigned interface. I know that change can feel awkward but the simplicity of the new system is so much better. This company takes data protection and child safety seriously which is reassuring in an age when children and parents are vulnerable to exploitation by tech companies. Well done Tapestry and keep going! 👍

Since the app and platform update I can no longer open pdf files; I have to download them to my phone first. Also it has stopped allowing me to sign in with my PIN or face.

Adding assessments is harder as there is no search function, meaning looking through multiple sections and branches just to tick off one thing. The search function made this so much easier and just tapestry on a desk top, the pop up box when adding the assessment does scroll down so missing things on some of the longer lists

Having just switched over to this new version of the app from the old version, I find it easy to navigate and I’ve found most of the functions I used regularly on the old app. 
The main difficulty I have with it is the size of the font when writing an observation, which is much smaller than on the rest of the app! 
I wear reading glasses but generally don’t have to use my glasses for using my phone, but I can’t manage without them on this particular app. 
Is this something which the creators of the app can perhaps tweak?

You can login more easily now, but photos are nearly impossible to zoom, don't rotate to landscape, and are hard to navigate. Not sure why, as Apple has built in procedures for photo viewing, so why they insist on doing it their own way and then not test it for bugs simply beggars belief. 

The previews don't show as much, and even when you click on an entry you still have to click read more. 

Everything takes up more space, so more scrolling, which we know isn't necessary as the old version was much more compact.

The new typeface is an improvement for people that need it. 

The old version remains better in almost every way, but at least they are very slowly fixing some of the bugs. It is very slow. I think they must have one programmer who only works part-time.

I have been using the app since my son started with his childminder and I have not once been able to leave the app and then go back into it without having to change my password every time! It’s actually driving me wild. I have deleted the app, reinstalled, I have deleted all temporary files and folders from my phone. I have covered all bases and still having the same issues - HELP!

App signs out constantly, and combined with Face ID not working after the initial setup leads to a very frustrating experience. These are fundamental issues which have existed since the redesign, however there are a lot of other issues and the app feels very clunky and slow.
