Something I hate with the update is that their logo is imprinted onto every render you make or have made; I pay for renders not to advertise your app. ### 3/5 — It’s good but irritating to work with. *2024-05-19, version 3.5.2* I believe this interior designing app has some strong potential but it is frustrating to work with. For example, I want to make an open space kitchen. I can’t seem to figure out how to delete walls or anything and the quick start video doesn’t show you how, just shows you how to split them. If it could be easier to figure things out and less frustrating, then I believe it would be a better app. ### 4/5 — New furniture, lighting, ceilings needed *2024-02-21, version 3.5.2* I enjoy the app and I’ve used it for years. It’s time they keep up with the times. There need to be options for steel doors, better lighting, furniture and ceiling height by room. ### 4/5 — Furniture/Rug Options *2023-01-28, version 3.5.1* I would love if they could update their furniture selections with simple and clean designs. I love the addition of the Calico collection, but you can’t manipulate the sizes. I use this app for quick furniture layouts for clients and it would be so nice if I could just have a white and or neutral option for the furniture and especially the rugs. Just a simple sisal would be such an improvement. ### 4/5 — A glitch? *2023-01-07, version 3.5.1* So this is a really good designer for those who want any type of design available but the thing is, I was in a room and I deleted the room while I was in it and now I’m stuck. This is not the game’s fault this is my fault but please fix it as soon as possible! The only issue was that in walkthrough mode u walked VERY VERY SLOW. Then one day I opened the app up and selected the plan I was working on. Then I dunno, I must have tapped something by accident but suddenly on the side of my screen there was something wanting me to get a subscription! It made it so that I could not tap any of the other buttons in the app and I could not close it. It has been like this for a couple of weeks now. PLEASE FIX IT I WANNA DESIGN MY DREAM HOUSE Update: u know what I’m just gonna try the cheapest subscription but “decide” I don’t like it and not do the actual thing or maybe cancel the trying it thing like a day later or something ### 3/5 — Great - But! *2022-08-25, version 3.5* Great program, but the removal of the rendering packages to be replaced by very expensive subscriptions is a great shame for non-professionals. ### 4/5 — GREAT PROGRAM, ONLY ONE ISSUE… *2022-05-29, version 3.5* I love using this program and it has helped immensely with working with my clients. My only issue is I’ve tried submitting a ticket and it comes back with an error code. The program does not allow you to print your floorplan to scale. And it does not show the grid scale as 1/4”=1ft which is important when trying to show to clients as well as interior design assignments that need that notated. I’m honestly really surprised a couple of these STILL aren’t available. I used to consider this app four stars, but the fact that you now have to pay a monthly subscription fee for some services while still going without some basic updates has brought it down to a 3 star for me. Unless there’s some secret feature I just can’t find, I can’t imagine paying every month and not being able to: 1. Set the floor level higher or lower by individual room to support split level spaces, sunken rooms, etc. Anything in between a basic Floor 1/Floor 2 isn’t possible right now. 2. After setting a ceiling height for an entire floor, you should then also be able to adjust the height of individual walls (including dragging each upper end of a wall to differing heights) to create under eaves spaces and peaked ceilings that will then be visible in walk through mode. The app could also use an expansion of the very dated interior design elements, as well as a couple other tweaks here and there, but those two above are really the most essential upgrades needed in my book. ### 5/5 — Underrated app *2021-10-20, version 3.4.6* I've tried so many interior design app or anything that has 3D planner on it, yet TapGlance is the best. There are wide range of furnitures, structures, etc. that can be used without having to pay a peso. You can make unlimited plans. This app is perfect for students or people who just find interior design enjoyable. I was thinking with Christmas coming up you could maybe get Christmas decorations and furniture. That is my favorite part of Christmas so if you could create fairy lights Christmas trees and other bits and bobs that would be great 👍🏻. I don’t need this app anymore and want to stop myself subscription. The samples are OK, but I wish they were a few more of them. you know like I wish they made whole houses that maybe we could like tweak. for example, I tried to make a mansion a castle and a dark house they made out of been able to help me with the doghouse, but they should’ve been able to help me with the mansion. i’m not telling you to make more samples, just make me a if you want to stuff in a room for people who would like to get creative and make new stuff. I had so much pleasure to create and created again. And in this perfect past, I can use renders points for transformation of my creations in a beautiful perfect pics. That was so cool ! But now… hell is in the place. They changed renders points in subscription mode. A VERY EXPENSIVE subscription mode. I’m so disappointed! This app was my favorite before the subscription mode. I spend hours in creation of the perfect rooms! Now… I’m not using the app because it’s to limited without a subscription. And I’m sorry to say that but, again, subscription are to EXPENSIVE. A lot ! For me, more then 100$ every month for using everything is not good. At all. Sorry Black mana Studio. Ive read numerous complaints regarding this same issue and followed every possible solution with no positive results. Today I noticed a couple of my larger plans are no longer available. I’ve invested hours into these projects and don’t wish to lose this work. I would pay to have this fixed but it seems even your website has dropped the ball on providing any help for troubleshooting. But since the last couple of updates, it crashes ALL THE TIME. Improved rendering has no value if you cant stay on long enough to produce anything to render.
