## What is TapJail?

You said one minute. It's been an hour.

TapJail locks the apps you can't stop opening. The only way out is 100 taps. And every time you break out, the price goes up.

Set a daily budget for the apps that eat your time. When it runs out, TapJail locks them. To get back in, open TapJail and tap a red circle — 100 times.

No bypass. No grace period. No shortcut.

Most of the time, 100 taps will change your mind. You'll put the phone down. That's the design working.

When it's actually worth it — when you need in — you tap 100 times and you get 15 more minutes.

Now here's what makes it expensive.

THE ESCALATING TAP COST

Every time you break out, the next breakout costs more.

First time: 100 taps — 15 minutes.
Second: 200 taps — 15 minutes.
Third: 400 taps — 15 minutes.
Fourth: 800 taps — 15 minutes.
Every one after that: 1,000 taps — 15 minutes.

By the third breakout you have tapped 700 times to spend 45 extra minutes in an app you set out to limit. TapJail is designed to let you do it. It just makes sure you feel the cost first.

Budget and tap count reset at midnight. Every day starts clean.

THE RESET

Leave Tap Prison before you finish? Progress resets to zero.

No partial credit. No recovery. Start over from the beginning.

This is not a flaw in the design. It is the design.

HOW IT WORKS

Authorize Screen Time. Pick the apps TapJail blocks. Set your daily budget. When the limit hits, the apps lock. Want in? Open TapJail and tap your way out.

FEATURES

— Block any app, category, or web domain
— Shared daily budget across every selected app
— Escalating tap cost: 100 — 200 — 400 — 800 — 1,000
— 15 minutes of access per completed breakout
— Live tap requirement shown on the block screen
— Ruthless reset if you leave before you finish
— No accounts. No cloud sync. Nothing stored off your device.

PRIVACY

TapJail uses Apple's Screen Time APIs. Your app usage data stays entirely on your device. We never see it, store it, or share it.

There is no account to create. There is nothing to sync.

TapJail is not a wellness app. It is not going to tell you great job or adjust to your mood. It is a lock with an escalating cost to open it.
