Thanks again for your support! ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Extremely Misleading “Free” App — Very Disappointed *2026-08-21* Tappy is honestly one of the worst expense-tracking apps I have ever used. When I downloaded the app, it was clearly presented as something I could use for free. I understood that there were Pro features available if I wanted to try them, but I specifically chose not to subscribe because I only wanted the basic/free version to track my expenses. I downloaded this app specifically to track my expenses for a month. But after around 15 days, Tappy suddenly stopped allowing me to add new expenses and started telling me that I need to buy Premium to continue adding entries. Seriously? If the app is advertised as free, why allow users to start entering their expenses and then suddenly block the most basic functionality halfway through the month? An expense tracker without the ability to add expenses is basically useless. If there is a 15-day limitation on the free version, that should be made extremely clear BEFORE users spend time adding all their financial data. This feels extremely misleading and frustrating. I would have never downloaded the app if I knew that the “free” version would stop allowing basic expense entries after 15 days. **Developer response:** We’d like to clarify this, as there seems to be a misunderstanding. Tappy does not have a 15-day limit, and we never claim that Tappy is a completely free expense tracker. Logging expenses and viewing your history are always free, including through Back Tap, Siri, and the widget. The 50-expense count shown in Settings refers to the Pro trial, which unlocks features like analytics, budgets, custom categories, and CSV export. We understand your frustration, but the 15-day limitation described in this review does not exist in Tappy. We hope this clarifies how the free and Pro features work. ### 1/5 — Clean UI but minimal features *2026-07-20* Add feature to edit date and time of the spend. Add feature to add number of cards and from which card its spent. Give windows supporting app so that I can login from laptop too. **Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback! You can already edit an expense's date right from the edit screen. Just swipe right on an expense to edit it, then tap the date to change it. Overall function is very good, but I think the only issue is that there is no credit thing when you can input.
