AND THEN THEY SAID I BOARDED MY RIDE WHEN THEY WERE ON THE OTHER SIDE OF CAMPUS!! I never boarded anything!!! They need to double check where and who they have on board. It’s ridiculous ### 1/5 — Trash *2021-08-30, version 21.05.03* Just read some reviews. It's unbelievable that this app got no improvement at all in the past 2 years! Whether the driver can pick you up depends on luck. I was luckily picked up by a driver tonight, she complained to me all the way about this app. How come so many Universities are still using such a trash app in 2021? Also, the "Feedback" button in the app is for show. I tried using it 5 different occasions and never got it to work. It’s garbage. Need to login each time. Try to schedule and get error messages that are incorrect (10am on a Tuesday that’s not a holiday is not “outside of service hours” and nor is it in the past) and that’s it. There is nothing you can do to fix it. I hope the TapRide company loses all their clients and their developers rot in hell. ### 1/5 — GOOD DRIVERS BUT BAD APP *2019-11-21, version 19.11* I’ve had so many times where I requested a ride and I missed it because the gps didn’t update. I would be waiting inside even when the car arrived at my place because the app stopped updating their position. When the app finally updated and notified me that the driver is here, they had already waited 5 minutes and left. And, on my history, it would say the reason for cancellation was NO SHOW when I WASNT AWARE OF THEIR ARRIVAL. ### 1/5 — Undependable *2019-10-29, version 19.10.2* Highly inaccurate wait times, ridiculously long estimates (100 minutes?) and sometimes would show the vehicle arriving but no car would come. I tried downloading and deleting so many times but it never changes anything. Sometimes the arrival time continues to increase only to tell me the ride has been completed 30minutes later even though I haven’t even been picked up. But the screen still says put in a valid number and says services not active. Please help. ### 1/5 — Extremely unreliable *2019-08-23, version 19.8.1* Over four years, this app has continued to barely function. So unreliable it often doesn’t work at all. The estimation of minutes away is an absolutely random generation. Sometimes I wait 40 min for a ride and then the app crashes and you have sign in to request a new one all over again. I have to cancel a lot of rides but sometimes the app won’t let me, or just keeps uncancelling the ride (how??? why??). ### 1/5 — App doesn’t let you log in *2019-05-23, version 6.6.0* After the most recent update claiming that the app no longer logs you out, they also made it so you can no longer log in. The screen just loads forever. Fail. ### 1/5 — WORST APP EVER! *2019-05-09, version 6.5.9* The app does not order rides properly. It always crashes. IT ALWYAS signs me out. The most frustrating app Ive ever downloaded. I’ve had to wait over an hour to get picked up cause it didn’t know how to order rides. Whenever other students cancel a trip it just messes up the entire system. Why is this so much more of a pain than just calling a taxi? Stupid. Maps glitch out and reset when you try to move them. Time predictions are inaccurate and rarely update. Selecting your pickup and drop off locations puts you at risk for an aneurism. Basically every function is done terribly ### 1/5 — Don’t bother with this app, your better off with a bike or a ride from a friend. *2022-10-27, version 21.11.15* I have only ever had one successful ride with this app. I have used it various times and the other times, I always had issues. I’m tired of this app canceling its rides on me for no reason. just today there were 2# in front of me, so I waited patiently. it finally was my turn and it said that the ride would be there in 3 minutes. My ride came quickly last night with no problem! ### 4/5 — Good job overall *2018-01-16, version 6.3.4* Does a good job at my uni. A bit annoying that I have to log in every time I use it, even if it’s just been a few hours. Would also like to see the interim stops and a few other features, but def a step up from not being able to see the ride in the previous system. ### 3/5 — App needs an update! *2020-01-21, version 19.12* The app is smooth running for the most part. However, it’d be extremely nice and helpful if the app had notification sounds or “pings” whenever the ride is outside. Putting in a ride request during busy hours is a sure fire way to be stuck in the waiting queue at #5 for an hour only to cancel the ride and miraculously be first in the queue. I have no problems with the drivers, they're just doing their best with the tools they have, but the app itself is terrible. I wanted to read the food and beverage policy my college has for their cars, but the app is unusable and just logs me out whenever I open it. I beseech colleges and universities to find a better app for their driving services, since this one causes needless problems for the drivers and passengers alike. ### 2/5 — Lagging and Inconsistant *2022-03-30, version 21.11.15* App does not update in real time, which can be bad when I’m trying to get picked up late at night.
