Not saying this isn't nifty but I have been living without this just fine. If you have a second hand on your watch, just count how many beats in 5 seconds and multiply by 12. Not exactly rocket science.

The program would be better if it was also a metronome, I mean you can change the tempo but for what reason. If it was a metronome I would love the tapping feature so I could tap along woth a song so while practicing I get the same speed that is being played...

Endlich ein Beatcounter mit Umrechnung in ms! Echt nützlich zum Einstellen von Delays, die keine Tap-Funktion haben.

This is a great program. It has that Macintosh SE/30-ish charm about it, it gets the job done, and it doesn't take a bite out of my pocketbook. I never knew that 1-bit black & white could look so good on my iPod.

Pretty cool bpm counter, does exactly what it should. Reminds my of one I used to use on OS9. Cannot understand why you would need instructions to figure out how to use it? You just tap the tap button and it tells you the bpm that you are tapping...simple?

I downloaded this a while ago and loved it. I lost all my apps and came hunting for this one because I use it like a Swiss army knife for all my musical endeavours! Great app, the graphics remind me of win3.0

Useful free app. Good for working out delay times and compression release settings. Not very pretty but handy.

Works like a reverse metronome, and as a composer of music I find it quite useful. Who cares that the graphics are from 1990? It works wonderfully!

For all the people out there who can't figure out how to use this app, you press the rather large button in the middle multiple times along with a beat, and it will give you the beats per minute. Is that so difficult? It's not a metronome, it's not anything else, it's simply for the purpose of determining bpm. 

Now the actual review. Its interface is awful, but it's so simple and runs quickly and without glitches on my iPod touch. The breakdown of 16th notes etc is quite helpful. It's a very useful app.

One of my most used apps, it's simple and effective, and often comes in handy when I'm curious about a songs bpm.

Probably the most used app on my iPod.  Wouldn't dream of going into a set without it as a backup, and the ability to take bpm counts anywhere means time saved when hearing new songs on the road.  Would definitely download again.

Nicht nur ein ganz guter Beatcounter sondern auch nützlich um den Puls zu bestimmen, denn der Puls ist ja auch Impulse pro Minute.

I was on a two hour flight, and I tried out this app near the start. My iPod stopped responding, and only when the battery drained (long, long after my flight) was I able to use it again.

...hat den Sinn wirklich nicht verstanden. Finde die App super, besonders die Umrechnung in ms. Das bei der Berechnung nur die letzten beiden Taps zählen finde ich persönlich sogar eher von Vorteil, denn wenn man mal die Bpm von zwei verschiedenen Tracks vergleichen will, muss man die App nicht neu starten. Wer damit Probleme hat, sollte einfach mal tighter klopfen;)
