## What is TapTime?

One phone. One category. Ten seconds.

TapTime is a party game for 2 to 8 players around one iPhone or iPad. Put the phone in the middle of the table and draw a card, like "Things in the ocean." Take turns saying a word that fits and starts with a free letter. Tap that letter to pass the turn and reset the clock. Each letter can only be used once, so it gets harder with every turn.

HOW TO PLAY
1. Enter everyone's names and put the phone in the middle of the table.
2. Draw a card. That's your category.
3. Say a word and tap its first letter. The letter is used up, and the next player has ten seconds.
4. Run out of time and you're out. The last player standing wins the round.

It takes a minute to learn, and nobody has to read the rules first.

WHAT YOU GET
• 2 to 8 players on one phone
• 45 free cards, from "Animals" and "Countries of the world" to "Things that make noise"
• Letters face outward, so everyone around the table can read them
• Made for iPhone, iPad, and iPhone Duo. The board grows on a bigger screen and stretches wide when you turn it sideways
• Pause and undo when someone taps the wrong letter
• 5, 10, or 15 seconds per turn
• Choose how many rounds it takes to win
• English and Norwegian, and you can switch languages in the app
• Works offline – on road trips, at the cabin, at parties
• No ads, no account, and the app collects nothing about you
• Fun for the whole family

FREE AND PRO
The free version has 45 cards, and you can play it as much as you like. TapTime Pro adds:
• All 148 cards, from sports and travel to science and parties
• Your own cards – about your family, your class, or anything you like – to share by link or QR code with friends who have Pro
• Your choice of letters – add Q, W, X, and Z, or take out the hardest ones
• Custom time per turn, from 3 to 30 seconds

Pro is a one-time purchase, not a subscription, and Family Sharing covers the whole family.

## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 1.1 — 2026-11-03

TapTime is now built for iPad and iPhone Duo. The board fills the big screen and stretches wide when you turn it sideways. Already bought Pro? It works there too.

### 1.0.2 — 2026-11-02

New on the home screen: “Share with friends” sends a link to TapTime on the App Store, so the next game night has one more player.

### 1.0.1 — 2026-10-27

• Game sounds: a click when you tap a letter, ticking in the last few seconds, and a buzzer when time runs out. Turn them off in Settings. If your phone is on silent, the game is silent too.
• Less time on each new board: when every letter is used and the board refills, each turn gets 2 seconds less, never less than 3 seconds. You can turn this off when you set up a game.
• Confetti and a victory sound for whoever wins the game.
• Playing with fewer than 20 letters? They’re now spread evenly around the board.
• Small bug fixes.

### 1.0 — 2026-10-27

No release notes.
