## What is TapTix POS?

TapTix POS is a fast, modern point-of-sale app built for any kind of business, restaurants, cafes, and bars, shops, you name it. Designed to run on phones, tablets, pc, and any device your team uses.
TapTix turns every device into a full-featured terminal for taking and managing orders.

KEY FEATURES

• Visual table management — instantly see which tables are open, occupied, or selected, with real-time status updates as orders flow through the kitchen.

• Lightning-fast order entry — browse products by category and point of sale (Bar, Restaurant, etc.), add items with one tap, attach quantity, modifiers ("no sugar", "extra cheese"), and special notes.

• Multi-point of sale — one app, multiple sales points. Switch between Bar and Restaurant menus without re-logging.

• Modifiers and meal courses — assign items to courses (appetizer, main, dessert) so the kitchen prints them in the right order.

• Shift management — view a complete shift summary with order history and totals, then close the shift in a single tap.

• Table operations — move orders between tables, split, close — all the flexibility a busy floor needs.
 
• Auto-discovery — finds your TapTix backend on the local network automatically via mDNS, no IP-typing required.
