Graphics and music are good. The movement could def use a little more streamlining. The grammar in any onscreen text is pretty atrocious. Improper use of commas, run-on sentences, etc. Developer has a good head start in the programming department but really needs to catch up on their English homework lol ### 3/5 — Disappointing *2021-11-23* If you like code breaking games with minimal obscure clues and not much in the way of gameplay then this game is for you. **Developer response:** Thanks for your feedback, Tarakan is primarily a puzzle game so it's main element will be code breaking gameplay, I'd like to think this came across in the description and I've not mislead. Really pleased you enjoyed the challenge, although I don't include hints I'm always around to offer clues via social media and email plus there are a few walkthrough videos people enjoy making, so there is always help if you get truly stumped. Thanks again for playing one of my games! ### 4/5 — Great so far *2021-07-23* Until I got to the door with the four shapes above it. I used the key I found in the computer room on that door. Was I supposed to be able to do that? Seems I can’t go any further. **Developer response:** Hi there, no you shouldn't be able to use the key on that door, I'll have to take a look at that! Quickest thing to do is restart the level. Sorry for the trouble! UPADTE: This is now fixed in update 1.0.1! ### 5/5 — Too short but entertaining *2025-04-20* This is a game that is actually way too short, and, to be honest, one I had to get a hint or two to complete. It makes you use your brain matter in ways that don’t come naturally, but that’s a good thing. It’s different, but that’s also a good thing. For the price, it’s a great ways to kill some time. Bet there’s a puzzle or two you aren’t able to figure out without some frustration. I’ll be playing it again very soon and try my best not to use any hints. ### 5/5 — Another hit! *2022-12-26* I spend everyday checking to see if there is another game in this series because I love them so much. Mistico is just as great as the other games in every way, I have them all and never hesitate to snap new ones up. The final one really had me going 🤪 More please. Each M9 game gets better and better and this one was really good. Challenging puzzles, but do-able. I liked that there were different locations to go to. The graphics are beautiful and the soundtrack wonderfully relaxing. The developer is kind when you need hints and that is much appreciated.
