### 2/5 — What’s with the commercials?

*2024-02-04, version 11.7*

I paid good money for this app and now I have to watch commercials. I’ll be deleting the app after I submit this.

### 2/5 — Paid for it years ago and now ads

*2019-09-09, version 11.7*

Was a simple straightforward tarot app and now all these cheesy unavoidable ads for crap games. Goodbye.

### 1/5 — Update a p.o.s.

*2019-04-20, version 11.7*

I bought this app years ago and loved it. Was the best app on my iPod. Then it says “update”. So I do, and now there are tons of ads to ruin the mood, and a bill for 1 dollar a month for the rest of my life. I deleted the app.

### 1/5 — Worst app ever with new version (Ads)

*2019-03-30, version 11.6*

Ads after every reading with new version. I paid for this app years ago. Back then it worked great. Now with this new version, ads are everywhere unless you pay for a subscription. Also, the ads are 30 seconds long. Laugh out loud!!! The developer is a douche bag

### 1/5 — Subscription model bites

*2019-03-23, version 11.6*

I’ve had the pro option for years. I specifically bought it to rid myself of ads. Now I have to pay $10.00/ yr. to do that and buy a bunch of features I neither need nor want? Congrats, you’ve turned a reliable 5-star app into a 1-star. Consult your users before you implement the next stupid change.

### 1/5 — Now loaded with ads and micro transactions

*2019-03-18, version 11.6*

Been using this app for years and now getting assaulted with ads and micro transactions! What gives?! Not even divination can escape from greed. Disgusting

### 1/5 — Avoid

*2019-03-16, version 11.6*

This used to be a 5 star app for me until they threw advertising in. Who wants to wait for some dumb commercial in the middle of a tarot reading? I had paid money for the app and now they want me to subscribe to remove ads? Unethical.

### 1/5 — Too many pop up ads

*2019-03-11, version 11.5*

I used this app for years, and purchased it. Now they are saying I have to pay more to get rid of the ads that they added! Ridiculous!

### 1/5 — They now stick in ads

*2018-12-28, version 11.5*

I agree with the other reviews. This used to be a nice app. But they started injecting ads and you can only get rid of them with a subscription fee, month after month. I bought this app years ago and feel it is unfair to change the terms and conditions after I bought it.

### 1/5 — Very Upset

*2018-12-20*

The system freaking crashes when I try to retrieve a saved reading. Isn’t that why I paid for this app in the first place? To access saved readings? Oh and now I have to watch commercials. I referred people to this app too. Now I have enemies. This developer will really have to pay back karmically for swindling people. I have yet to write a bad review to Apple; however, this app need to be reported and the developer needs to refund every single person he swindled.

### 2/5 — Pro

*2018-12-17, version 11.5*

Ok, I spent $12 for a year but you need to give us more decks now.

It is a subscription with no app upgrades? They should include more decks, runes and a magic 8 ball for this yearly price. I am disappointed with the companies decisions.

### 1/5 — What is this???

*2018-12-07*

I paid for the Pro version a long time ago so that I wouldn't get any ads or limitations. Now I have to get a subscription to get rid of the ads? Not only that but it's a RECURRING subscription. This is ridiculous. That about being greed! Apple should put a stop to these types of devs that think they can rip people off. People who PAID for the app should NOT get ads at all. Immediately got rid of this when I saw the subscriptions.

### 1/5 — Ridiculous Ads for a Purchased App

*2018-11-26, version 11.5*

I have been using this for years after PURCHASING the full version. Why are there constant pop up ads now? How annoying and frustrating. Get rid of the ads that I shouldn’t have to see on a paid version and you’ll get the 5 stars back that this app would ordinarily deserve.

### 1/5 — Suddenly AD ? For paid App?

*2018-11-18, version 11.5*

I purchased this app king time ago
And it was my favorite PAID app.(yes I paid for it! There is a free version too)
But recently this developer got really greedy , the add AD and to remove thier add need to subscribe this for $10 a month.. I delete because of annoying AD pop up. And I don’t want to pay $20 a month, please refund me money that I paid for this app !

### 1/5 — Ads, added after all these years

*2018-11-09, version 11.5*

Bought years ago. Now ads. Every time you pull card or do reading, ads. Don’t get this app. I Deleted the app now. What’s the point. Tarot pro should have done a card pull before this bad decision.

### 1/5 — No added value

*2018-11-05*

I have been using this app daily for years. I bought it; I think it was $10-about half the price of a physical deck which I think is reasonable for virtual content. It was super convenient to just use the app rather than carry a deck around with me. I’ve been reading tarot for 25 years and used the app to pull cards when I needed them.
Now, there are advertisements where there were none before and I’m being forced to buy a subscription if I want to use the app the way I have used it for years. I thought that was what I already bought. This isn’t the first time a one time payment app decided it needed a subscription to strangle more money out of its long-time users. And what is the added value? To get rid of ads that weren’t there to begin with? It’s amazing how an app can go from great and recommended to deleted overnight.

### 1/5 — 💵Pagar, pagar, pagar,...

*2018-11-04, version 11.5*

Repito: pagar, pagar, pagar,..... 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

### 1/5 — The old app was just fine

*2018-11-04*

Find other ways of making money.

### 1/5 — Suddenly there are ads in the middle of the readings?

*2018-11-02, version 11.5*

I loved this app, but suddenly, without warning, ads pop up in the middle of every reading unless I subscribe. Very uncool not to tell people before you made the change. It was fun while it lasted, but I guess this is where we part ways.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Paid for app now wasting my time with ads!

*2022-01-05*

Stay away. When you do your part and spend money on an app to avoid advertisements then the expectation is for the software developer to fulfill its side of the bargain. If the developer can change their mind and opt out of their side of the agreement then the money should be returned. What I have now, I would have never paid for, but because of the nature of the transaction I do not have a way to opt out and not fulfill my side of the agreement (and get my money back).

Sure, I understand business models change but there’s probably better ways to treat loyal customers than penalizing them for sticking with your product.

### 1/5 — Stop Auto-Pasting from Clipboard!

*2021-05-19*

I deleted this app, though I used to like it. Whenever I opened it, however, I saw that it was pasting from my clipboard. Evidently it’s reading whatever you have on the clipboard from any previous app. If you have just copied a password or other sensitive data, Tarot Pro has access to it. I don’t really see any reason it should be accessing the clipboard unless you specifically ask it to paste.

### 1/5 — I already paid ! Not happy.

*2020-07-23*

I paid for the full version of this app years ago. Now I want to re-install it I have to pay more to subscribe for a year? So tired of getting ripped off! No chance!

### 1/5 — Upgrade to lame subscription fraud!

*2020-04-25*

I paid for this app but after upgrading, there are ads and a terrible subscription model. For what? Almost nothing. Pathetic attempt to squeeze users. Do not use this horrible garbage! As an app developer, I can assure you the functionality offered in this app is easily and cheaply implemented especially considering that its graphics and UI/UX is very bad. Find anything else for your tarot readings!

### 1/5 — Super annoying ads

*2020-02-07, version 11.7*

First you pay for the Pro version, to remove ads, then you get them anyway, unless you buy a subscription... NO.

### 1/5 — Was fantastic, then they added advertising to the Premium Version

*2019-09-14*

I purchsed this app a long time ago and would have rated it 5 stars then because it worked well, and was easy to use. I paid for the pro version to remove advertising that was present in the free version. Now for the past year or so, the “Pro” version includes advertising without a subscription. I was hoping with the backlash from pervious customers that this decision would be reversed but sadly I was mistaken. In fact there is still a Tarot Pro Free version available. I guess I will have to move on and hope I save someone a few bucks for purchasing an app that should be ad free.

### 1/5 — Ads

*2019-08-16, version 11.7*

When I got this app it’s readings were surprisingly accurate. Now that Ads pop up I feel I’ve lost my connection to it and the readings make no sense. I paid money for this app, I should not get ads. Wish I didn’t update. It’s too bad, I used to use it all the time, now I’m going to have to find a new app to replace it.

### 1/5 — Garbage

*2019-06-08, version 11.7*

Paid app with sudden extremely irritating noisy ads interrupting the experience.
Complete ripoff.

### 1/5 — This is b.s.

*2019-05-09, version 11.7*

After paying good money for this app years ago, I am now seeing adds pop up and I’m reading there’s a new subscription price. Thanks for nothing.

### 1/5 — Thieving Scoundrels

*2019-04-25, version 11.7*

Bought it, NOW I have to subscribe because you are greedy... Four of Pentacles you grasping, avaricious little pricks.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Flexible

*2026-02-23*

I like the fact you can switch from the Rider deck to the Marseille. Although I’m more of a traditionalist, some may enjoy the psychology-based spreads.

### 5/5 — Good program

*2018-10-30, version 11.5*

Loved it when it was add free and have used it for years.

### 5/5 — Tarot Pro

*2018-06-17*

A great app...having experience with this oracle I find this just about perfect!
This Tarot app is very well developed and the reading results are very clear to those who have studied Tarot.
Using it every day.

### 5/5 — Best on the fly deck

*2018-05-08*

I have been doing readings since 1973. Almost all of that Time, professionally. This is a wonderful app for occasional readings, for myself. Surprisingly, the interpretations are very good, even if they do not replace individual interpretations.

### 5/5 — Très bon

*2018-01-28, version 11.2*

Nice little app, very interesting.👍

### 5/5 — Uncannily accurate

*2018-01-19*

Performed psychological reading on the self-inflicted death of a friend’s husband. I’m surprised at the accuracy. Shouldn’t be as I’ve trusted the cards most of my life.
Pictures are crystal clear, meanings accurate - an excellent app for me.

### 5/5 — Brilliant!

*2017-12-07*

This app is so on point it's like using actual cards.

### 5/5 — Beautiful, well done

*2017-11-06*

This is a perfectly wonderful app. It’s well thought out, with enough options for different layouts. The card definitions are accurate and easy to read. Highly suggested.

### 5/5 — quick fix

*2017-11-05*

Not sure why but the cards and their meanings are super mixed up. I will draw a card and the meaning is descriptive of an entirely different scene or card that the one that is shown.

### 5/5 — The Best tarot app

*2017-08-09, version 10.0*

Check it out for yourself it is absolutely #1
