However, the new update with the new card graphics are extreme ugly. It looks like a traced drawing by a kindergartener. The new update said that the graphics will be high quality. Not the case. Change it back or use a different version of the Waite deck like the Universal Waite( which I own). then I will give it 5 stars. ### 2/5 — Cheap illustrations. Don't update. *2010-07-26, version 0* Apparantly, the classic Rider illustrations have been replaced by the cheaper looking versions with this recent update. If you buy the pro version, you get the classic illustrations. The beautiful magic of the originals is gone. This is a wonderful app but PLEASE change the images back to the pre-update ones. I only wish it had explanations / overviews for what the different spread types "do" or mean (i.e. What's the differences between Celtic Cross, Two Choice spread, etc.). I'm new to Tarot and would find this info useful (so I don't have to leave the app, google my question, and come back.). Otherwise great. ### 4/5 — Love the spin feature *2009-07-30, version 0* I am very pleased with this app with just a couple of exceptions. I would love to be able to save readings. It would be cool to go back and see how past readings apply to the present. Another feature is there is only one spread choice. Only a 3 card spread which is ok, but more to choose from would be nice. What I love about this feature is the spin feature. It makes it more synchronistic when you chose the card rather than the program picking the card for you. All in all, great job! Thanks! ### 5/5 — Great platform the Tarot *2009-06-12, version 0* I created this app, and I just wanted to tell you about what I like the most about it. The best thing is the unique way it uses the iPhone device. The iPhone is the perfect shape and interface for a Tarot card. Plus when you do an open-ended reading, the interface spins like a slot machine and other people can close their eyes and tap your iPhone to pick a random card. This hasn't been done before, and when I've used this at parties, it's a hit. ### 5/5 — Just spoke with developer *2009-04-29, version 0* He said that there would be a free update to this one that provides the same new text as Tarot Pro, bug fixes, and some graphic changes. He wants to keep the two products separate so that this one is more for Beginners and Tarot Pro is more for intermediate and advanced readers. ### 5/5 — Just bought an iPhone *2009-04-29, version 0* My son bought me an iPhone for my birthday a couple weeks ago, and then I heard from a friend that you can do tarot readings on it. So I did a search for tarot, and this came up! I'm so excited. The text looks really nice and professionally written. ### 2/5 — Updates?! *2009-04-28, version 0* I was thrilled to download this application when I noticed it almost a year ago. There have been no upfres ever since then except a few bug fixes. I submitted feedback as many people did about this application and am now submitting feedback once again. All the new updates many requested have been executed well however, it is in a new version you must pay for! Updates are suppose to be free! Seems this developer wanted some $ for the updates and new features and completely abandoned the original $2.99 application. If you want the updates for the same exact application tge developer wants you to fork over the additional dollar. However, after a recent update, all of the original Rider Waite art has been replaced by terrible line drawings of the deck!! It's enough for me to consider buying a different tarot app. Change the art work back and I'll rate it at five stars!! Or better yet just do a high quality scan of the original!!
