I like how it is good at synthesizing the spread into a coherent narrative. However, the function is limited: the freeform reading doesn’t allow for individual questions for individual card pulled in the same spread; one cannot log spreads onto past dates; the daily card function has a bug that only show the first day’s card when you click on it so one cannot do daily notes; and the card back keeps returning to default. These are not hard fixes so I hope the developer can fix them soon. ### 5/5 — Best Tarot app, hands down *2026-03-11, version 1.1.0* I’ve tried all the tarot apps and this one is the best. It’s the most straight forward and handy resource for my readings when I need to review the meanings. What it offers without the paid subscription is great. Can’t learn anymore without paying. I’ll go back to my own flashcards. ### 1/5 — Hourly limit? Bugs? *2026-05-25, version 1.1.4* I have a premium subscription and have not done any reading for the day yet, and it suddenly says “too many readings” and said to come back in an hour. First of all, if there is any limit at all even with premium, there’s no point subscribing. Second, since I’ve not done any reading for the day, let alone the hour, this is likely yet another bug out of many. My experience using this app has been okay but there were quite a few bugs, and some features that could certainly be improved, but it’s funny that the link to the customer support on the app store page doesn’t work. ### 1/5 — Error *2026-03-17, version 1.1.0* I can't purchase the subscription it gives me an error :( ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work on my phone. *2025-12-01, version 1.0.7* The app won’t even open on my iPhone 8 Plus. Can’t use it. ### 2/5 — SCAM *2026-06-11, version 1.1.4* THEY STOLE MONEY FROM ME. ### 2/5 — Pay to use *2026-02-05, version 1.0.9* Just like the reviews state it’s a great informative app, it does use generative AI though. Unfortunately once you use up your three free energy it does not restock after 24hours. Instead it’s permanently gone and you need to pay for the subscription to get detailed information. If you want to understand what the reading is saying be prepared to open your wallet. Seems like a cash grab by doing that ### 3/5 — Wish they would explain why *2026-08-06, version 1.1.4* You cannot use the app without paying. That is first and foremost. Secondly, when you are trying to learn and play the exercises, they don’t explain why you got anything wrong. A very easy way to learn is to learn from you mistakes and get some explanation as to why your answer was incorrect so you can understand. But they just say your wrong and show was it correct but I want to know why. Please update that. ### 3/5 — Generative AI use? *2026-06-30, version 1.1.4* I’ve only just downloaded the app, and overall it looks very thorough and user friendly! I’m just wondering if there’s a way to turn off the generative AI summaries as i’m not a fan and honestly find it kind of soulless and anti human🥲 thanks! ### 4/5 — Great way to learn tarot *2026-08-28* I have started using tarot just for myself. I’m fascinated by its symbolism and definitely want to learn more. Up until now, I have used Books as well as AI to help me understand the cards. I only did the two minute free course, but after that, I decided to buy the course. This looks straight up my alley because it invites you to look at the cards and combine that with what you learned about the different suits and numbers. I would’ve loved an option for a monthly or even half yearly subscription. But overall, I’m very satisfied. ### 4/5 — It helped me so much! *2026-05-22* I have started reading Tarot cards, and it is simply fantastic to have this app at hand for learning the meanings of the individual cards—especially when combined with ChatGPT. When I lay out cards, I first look them up in this app and attempt to interpret them myself; afterwards, I input the cards into ChatGPT or another AI tool and compare the results. However, one criticism I have of this app is that it is available only in English. As I am German, I would learn much faster if there were an option to switch the language settings to German. **Developer response:** Thank you for the kind words and feedback! Great news on the language side: I'm actively working on adding more, and German is very high on the list, so hopefully it should be available very soon. Also, one thing worth trying: TarotLingo can actually do full interpretation for you if you want...no ChatGPT needed. Tap Free Form Reading (or any of the spreads) and input the physical cards you drew and then tap Begin Reading button to get an interpretation right in the app. It's much easier than copying them into another tool.
