## What is Tarpup?

TarpUp is an AI-powered prompt marketplace for connecting people to others with shared interests. On TarpUp, using AI, you can connect with prospective roommates, find study partners, buy and sell things on campus. 

No more depending on friends to help you connect with others for your needs or flood group chats with requests: with a simple prompt, tell TarpUp what you need and let it connect you with the right people in real-time.

We added a new feature called Tarps page, where users can share pictures on the map. Users can also share their location with friends. Location can only be shared for a limited time specified by user, after which it vanishes. The Tarps page equally came with in-app notification button.

Also, we improved our chats feature to reduce latency and allow users to form group chats with their friends, in addition to the AI-generated chat rooms that currently exist.
