## What is Tartan Talks?

Tartan Talks is a private, members-only community for business owners and professionals across Glasgow and Edinburgh.

Built for people who would rather meet the right people than work a room, the app keeps your network close between events — your profile, the member directory, what's coming up, and your membership pass, all in one place.

What you can do:
- Keep a professional profile that other members can find
- Browse the member directory across Glasgow and Edinburgh — filter by city or business type
- Leave and receive honest peer reviews and star ratings
- RSVP to upcoming events and keep track of where you're going
- Invite a guest to an event — they receive their pass by email
- Show your personal membership QR code for quick check-in at the door
- Get notified the moment new events and community updates land

Tartan Talks is a paid membership community, and the app is for approved members only. Membership is arranged separately — there is no public sign-up or payment inside the app. Once your membership is set up, you'll receive an email to set your password and step in.

- Bring a guest. Members can now invite a guest to any upcoming room — the guest receives a personal pass by email, and one scan at the door checks them in.
- Every room, both cities. Glasgow and Edinburgh members can now see and RSVP to events in both cities — membership is valid at any event.
- Find people by what they do. Directory search now matches business type, with a new category filter to browse everyone in a trade at once.
- Plus a tidier home screen and small refinements throughout.
