## What is Tashteeby?

A bare-brick apartment? A villa that needs a full renovation? A shop or clinic to fit out? Tashteeby prices the whole project in seconds at current Cairo or Riyadh market rates — finishing, kitchen, air conditioning and furniture — with the expected duration, a full bill of quantities, and an AI Plan Studio that shows your unit finished before you buy a single tile. And once work starts, it stays with you until the last payment.

New
• Price alerts: when a material in a saved unit moves 5% or more, a notification tells you how much your unit's cost went up or down
• Ask about your estimate: ask about any number — why a trade costs what it does, how to save, where to start — answered from your own figures and today's prices
• Remodel: photograph any room and see 3 free ideas for it finished and furnished, then a final render with a priced shopping list and the cost — and edit it by chat
• A different style for each room, and a material board per room: tiles, RAL paint codes, doors, windows and lighting at today's prices — ready for your supplier as text or PDF
• Share your plan with a view-only link: your contractor and family see the rooms, cost, timeline and renders without an account; stop sharing any time

The calculator is free, no sign-up

Figures are estimated market averages for guidance, not a contractor's quote, and the expected duration is a computed estimate, not a schedule commitment. Answers from "Ask about your estimate" and AI renders are for guidance — check with your contractor and engineer before you sign or make any structural decision.

### 2.6.2 — 2026-10-13

New in Tashteeby 2.6:
• Remodel, a new tab: photograph any room as it is and see 3 free ideas for it finished and furnished, then a full-quality render with a shopping list at today's prices and the cost to get there — and edit it by chat: "make the sofa grey". Your first final render is free
• Price alerts: when a material in a saved unit moves 5% or more, a notification tells you how much your unit's cost went up or down
• Ask about your estimate: ask about any number — why a trade costs what it does, how to save, where to start — answered from your own figures
• Compare the four finish levels side by side: your unit at economy, standard, luxury and ultra — the total, cost per m² and duration, and every trade line by line
• A style for each room in Plan Studio, plus a material board per room: tiles, RAL paint codes, doors and windows at today's prices — share it as text or PDF
• Upload plans as CAD files (DXF) too, and a more accurate area: halls, corridors, stairs and lobbies now count — and for a plan without dimensions, type the unit area and the rooms are sized to it
• Share your plan with a view-only link: your contractor and family see the rooms, cost and renders without an account; stop sharing any time
• Follow the work: the status of every trade through to cleaning and handover, actual spend against the estimate, and site photos
• A payment schedule, a shopping list for each stage, and contractor quotes compared with your estimate
• Your units are saved to your account and follow you to iPhone, iPad, Mac and the website
• The Contractor plan, now in the app: documents and quotations under your company name and logo, a client list and 16 renders a month — Premium members upgrade and pay only the difference
• The line-by-line BOQ opens from Home, the result and your plans
• Fixes and improvements
