### 3/5 — Nice UI but Lack of Multi-select hinders app

*2026-04-06*

The UI is stunning and I love how an item can “live” in multiple lists. Every app should allow this. Two things keep me from using Task Flow more regularly: a) inability to drag an item from a list and then into a different list in the side bar and b) inability to select multiple items at once.

### 4/5 — Way better then Things 3

*2025-12-29, version 4.0.3*

Some small flaws. Not sure how good costumer support it. App Icon Image will change back

### 4/5 — Still not there

*2025-09-12, version 4.0*

Gets close to being ultimate task manager but falls short.

- Still no Apple Watch app or even a hint of one.
- Those quotes are a distraction. Still no hide or customization option. I don’t want to be annoyed with quotes I don’t resonate with every day. It’s not considerate of user experience. Not everyone is the same.
— Much rather have a timer than Pomodoro which I won’t use.

Most of my previous suggestions haven’t been addressed. The above are the top three. Just communicates you don’t care too much for the feedback or are tunnel visioned on things that don’t matter as much as the things I’ve already mentioned. I wouldn’t bother writing if I didn’t think the app had amazing potential. I was looking forward to trying it again after the 4.0 update but my feedback has not been addressed and this is now years later after I shared them. If you ever make some of these changes I will reevaluate then. Take it easy.

# Great Potential

Very promising and beautifully designed app.

### Things I appreciate ...
• Clean and pleasing interface with color highlights via themes
• Can assign a task to multiple projects
• Unlimited subtasks
• Image and file attachments
• Project icons
• Full Screen notes view editor with Markdown support
• iCloud sync
• Mac app
• Multiple icon choices
• Board view with editable sections
• Non-invasive privacy policy
• Family sharing
• Lifetime purchase option
• Actively Developed
### Things that hold me back upgrading to Plus
• Subtasks can't be assigned to Focus, Today or Upcoming.
• Upcoming doesn't allow you to drag and drop tasks between dates for easy scheduling.
• No System calendar integration.
• No Reminder import.
• Callback URLs not clickable in Notes field.
• Timer doesn't integrate with tasks — The desired behavior would allow you to associate the timer with any task or subtask and keep a running log of how much time spent on tasks and projects. Also a straight time logger as an alternative to Pomodoro would be preferred for some (as an alternative option).
• Missing Apple Watch app and not on the Roadmap.
### Few other little things that could improve the user experience ...
• Allow us to add a new task from the app icon for quick entry.
• Task / subtask / project creation dates placed discretely.
• Contextual menu support for tasks / subtasks for quickly scheduling or adding to projects, etc.
• Section icons (like for projects).
• The ability to turn off quotes on Today view and ideally be able to add our own custom quotes if we desire.
• It is confusing to have two different elements named the same (Focus view and Focus timer) — maybe change the name of one of them so their purpose is unambiguous.
• Custom tab — let user add a view (I.e., a project, Today, Upcoming) as one of the tabs at the bottom.
All of these suggestions were offered in the spirit of helping Task Flow to reach its highest potential. Thank you for listening.

### 4/5 — suggestions

*2025-08-08, version 3.5*

would be helpful to allow mobility of tasks within “today” tab. i.e. rather than priority only way to sort allow drag to top of list

### 5/5 — Task Flow in use

*2025-05-28, version 3.3.2*

Works well in use and does exactly what you need to ensure you never miss another appointment.

### 5/5 — Excellent and easy on the eyes!

*2025-05-25, version 3.3.2*

The UI is excellent, the speed is great and the pomo is a nice add on.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2025-05-24, version 3.3.1*

The only thing that needs improving is the time and date picker for the reminders - it is too clunky. But the rest of the app is great. I’m liking the continuous updates.

### 3/5 — Needs a few more features

*2025-04-22, version 3.3.1*

Need to be able to time stamp every entry in any given task or subtask to keep track of progress in a given task. Have not found a way to archive projects. Team has been responsive in answering my questions.

### 4/5 — Way better then Things 3

*2025-04-04, version 3.3*

Some small flaws. Not sure how good costumer support it. App Icon Image will change back

### 5/5 — The best TODO app for me

*2025-04-01, version 3.3*

Works perfectly for me. Reasonably priced.

### 5/5 — Good

*2025-02-17, version 3.2.1*

Simple, integrates cheap

### 5/5 — Task Flow:Tasks &Checklist

*2025-01-26, version 3.2.1*

Task Manager,Lists,Organizer

### 4/5 — Has promise

*2025-01-19, version 3.2.1*

Has some nice features that other task managers lack, like attachments. Hope Apple Watch support is coming soon.

### 5/5 — 5 Stars for support and updates 🙏🏼

*2025-01-10*

I been using Task Flow since the beginning and I have to say with the amount of updates this has received as well as implementing new technologies I absolutely love it (Having Vision Pro Support at launch, Apple Intelligence features, etc). Vlad keep doing what you’re doing! 😊

### 5/5 — Best task app

*2025-01-08, version 3.2.1*

I’ve tried countless, if not all of the top tasks/productivity apps. This has been the only one I’ve stuck to. Simple UI for quickly adding tasks, with the option to then go deeper and add as much detail as possible and properly categorise everything. Love the integration with Apple Intelligence too which is criminally underrated. Props to the developers for not putting the AI features behind a paywall, and making the pricing as fair and transparent as possible. Definitely worth checking out.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Blatant Things 3 Ripoff

*2026-03-12, version 4.1*

This app is a blatant ripoff of Things 3.

### 1/5 — There are better options

*2025-11-01, version 4.0.2*

This app is buggy and hard to follow. The FLOW of the tasks doesn’t flow well at all. There are better apps for managing daily activities and projects with a far more intuitive and graceful UI than this one.

### 1/5 — Officially old

*2025-06-25, version 3.3.2*

I don’t understand how it works. I added a list of things I need to do on task flow app instead of on iPhone calendar or a simple notebook. Everything so complicated and Tim consuming :(

### 1/5 — Buggy

*2024-08-20*

Update:
I started using this again and while it seems to be improved slightly I ran into an issue when I was dragging a task in Board view from one column to another and it ended up as a subtask on another task. I could not get it out and had to delete it and start over. I sent a support request and no response. I did find I could fix it in Listview. But no support and still buggy I'm not ready to commit to this app even though it's my favorite task mgr app so far
---------------------------
I like this app even though its similiar to Reminders but the Boards view is something I wish Reminders had. But unfortunatley this app is buggy. Popup windows pop up behind the app or on another desktop/space if the app is in full view. I had one popup that had no buttons including a close button and had to force kill the app.
Sometimes you make a change like a project name and have to restart the app to see the change.
The app is not intuitive and I couldn't find anything that explained how it works let alone how best to use it. So I just assume I am using it right.
Then theres the trial period, the short 2 weeks hoping you might not cancel in time. So unfornately I won't be able to see if any updates are made.

### 1/5 — Tragic - no User Guide

*2024-05-07, version 2.3.3*

This appears to be a useful and advanced task manager. But when we went to Help instead of going to a Web sie with a User Guide on how to use the app, it took us just to an email support window.

### 1/5 — sync not good

*2023-02-18, version 1.7.1*

cant get iphone and mac to sync. what good is it???

### 1/5 — Horrible app

*2022-11-30, version 1.6.7*

I feel it’s not user-friendly

### 2/5 — Repeat

*2026-06-17, version 4.3*

This app is absolutely ridiculous. She put something in to repeat on a certain day each week and suddenly you have six of the same item each week.

Not impressed worst app ever.

### 2/5 — Archiving

*2025-09-30, version 4.0.2*

Can’t archive completed tasks/projects.

### 2/5 — Falls way short

*2022-10-04*

I've used this less than 24 hours, and I can already think of mor than a dozen changes that this app needs to make it even decent to use.

This is a great list if you have simple projects. If you have any reptitive tasks or if you like to keep your meetings in your tasks area, this will not work at all.

It's good for lists, but it fails as a way to manage your work day.

**Developer response:** Hi there!
Thank you for leaving a review! We know we still have a lot to add; however, we are also trying to find a balance to keep the app simple and intuitive.

In the meantime, we are constantly improving the app and adding new features, like keyboard shortcuts, file attachments, markdown support, etc.

Thank you again, and we hope you give us another try at some point in the future :)

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — On Top of It

*2026-08-24*

Love this app… it’s been helping me stay on top of things, build better habits, and even bang out some of the “whenever” tasks when I review my whole Task list/flow. It’s great for prioritizing and reminders. The subtasks were a big seller for me… to be able to chunk up several steps or related tasks under one umbrella so I can see all but I get less overwhelmed by all that I gave to do. Great app - would recommend to everyone trying to get organized. My only recommendation for the developers is to allow for rotating the screen in the phone app so you can see a little more at the same time if you want to.

### 5/5 — Good One

*2026-04-01, version 4.2*

It's a good one app and i love it

### 5/5 — Good One

*2026-03-11, version 4.1*

It's a good one app and i love it

### 5/5 — Lovely surprise

*2026-02-21, version 4.1*

I’m always looking for a better task app and I just love Task Flow-frictionless, so great having multiple homes for tasks, and Canadian!!

### 5/5 — Excellent task app with great data privacy.

*2026-01-15, version 4.0.3*

Easy yet has most features you need with added privacy as data uses your iCloud account.

### 5/5 — Good good easy to work with

*2025-12-07, version 4.0.3*

Getting better

### 5/5 — An Excellent and High-Quality App

*2025-12-02, version 4.0.3*

The interface is intuitive, sync is smooth and the overall feature set feels polished without unnecessary clutter. The lifetime option offers excellent value compared to other competing task apps.

### 5/5 — Totally worth it!

*2025-11-19*

I really like how it handles my complicated projects while keeping my daily to do list simple. Being able to use the built in focus timer is awesome for actually getting things done without distractions.

### 5/5 — Easiest I’ve tried

*2025-10-21*

I’ve tried a lot of apps and this is the best I’ve found. I love how I can drag tasks to different positions, and move them to different (or multiple) lists. I really really like how the completed tasks can be unchecked for things I repeatedly have on my list. I started with my iPhone app and then added the app to my desktop. I wish they had it for my iWatch and they said they’re working on it when I asked for that. Very responsive customer service. I Highly recommend!

### 5/5 — Tasks Checklists That Flow

*2025-10-16, version 4.0.2*

I’m excited to try this out and grateful to do so 🙏
