## What is Task Force?

Start with a shoplifting call. End with four field groups and an entire task force depending on your judgment.

Task Force is a persistent undercover command game built for iPhone and iPad. Act directly on people, evidence, routes, agents, resources, and tracked targets. Then live with every consequence.

PLAY THE SCENE
Tap the call on the patrol map. Inspect the subject, evidence, and exit in the body-camera scene. Place agents into mission roles, authorize resources on the tactical map, and issue live commands over the surveillance feed. Critical decisions stay fixed on screen—no overview/action switching and no scrolling to find the next move.

BUILD THE CASE
Turn one arrest into a 20-operation investigation. Interview detainees, test statements against evidence, develop leads, and work your way toward the organization behind Northline.

BUILD THE TEAM
Recruit and train named agents. Balance undercover, surveillance, case, and arrest roles. Fatigue, stress, exposure, injury, and permanent loss follow your people from one operation to the next. A veteran can save a mission. A rookie can surprise everyone.

COMMAND IT LIVE
Tap tracked targets and field groups directly on the camera feed. Change doctrine, protect a source, retask surveillance, swap the buyer, or make the final follow-or-arrest call.

USE MODERN TOOLS — LAWFULLY
Coordinate body-worn video, fixed cameras, road-watch alerts, real-time coordination feeds, location tools, digital returns, and drone support. Authorizations have scope, duration, and consequences. A lead is not evidence until your team verifies it.

FAIL FORWARD
Setbacks change the investigation instead of merely restarting it. Train, rest, rotate reserves, request mutual aid, and carry the result to one of six campaign endings.

Version 1.2 makes every operation play differently. Seven field playbooks now give recorded buys, mobile tails, source meetings, deliveries, warrants, and arrest signals their own stages and tradeoffs. Network heat changes future starts, a seeded director varies complications, incident responses apply real consequences, and reactive commands use a one-intervention-per-pulse cadence. New night-market, warrant, office-annex, storm-harbor, and command-table environments add more visual variety across the campaign.
