The choice applies to the app and to the web alike. A virtual board with nothing in it is not shown, and the app now always starts on the list of boards and books. • The origin icon is dropped when a task leaves the Inbox — the envelope, the speaker and the watch tell you how a task reached the Inbox. As soon as you move it to a regular board, the icon disappears; it used to travel along with the task. Subtasks included. • A moved task is easy to spot — after the move the app switches to the destination board, scrolls to the task and marks it with a grey dot for 5 seconds. A newly typed or dictated task gets the same dot (it used to stay for 10 seconds). • The option in Settings → New task is now called “On the board” instead of “In the list” — it makes it clearer that the task stays on the board and its detail doesn't open. • Tables made on the web now show correctly on the phone as well — a note or a page with a table appears as a grid with the full text in every cell; columns are sized to their content, so nothing is cut off. The table stays untouched even when you type around it. Creating and editing tables is still only possible on the web. • Minor fixes and improvements. ### 1.1.4 — 2026-08-11 • Dictating a task straight into a board (iOS) — press and hold the + button in a board and choose Dictate a task. The task is filed directly into that board, so there is nothing left to move out of the Inbox. It behaves just like a task typed on the keyboard; the feature requires an internet connection. • A reminder can no longer be set in the past — earlier days can't be picked in the calendar and a quick pick that would land yesterday is not applied. The check is per day, not per time, so “This evening” chosen late in the afternoon works as before. A due date in the past is still allowed. • A task or a page can no longer end up with no name — if you clear the name and leave the field, the previous one comes back and nothing is saved. • A deleted task no longer flashes back — it could previously return to the list for 1–3 seconds when a refresh from the server was under way. • The + button in a book works on the first tap — after creating a page and going back to the book you used to have to tap twice. • Web: task and page counts update immediately — in the board (book) header and in the list on the left, without reloading the page. • Minor fixes and improvements. ### 1.1.3 — 2026-08-01 Completed-task archive: • every task now shows when it was completed — newest first • the archive loads in batches: 25, 50 or 100 tasks • completed tasks are deleted automatically after 3, 6 or 12 months (you choose) Due dates and reminders: • new quick picks “Evening before deadline” and “Morning of deadline” • minutes are picked in steps of five, the hour is up to you • the highlight duration for a fired reminder is now picked from a list New task: • in Settings you choose whether to stay in the list or open the task detail • the task you have just written is marked with a dot for 10 seconds We also fixed a bug that, in rare cases, kept a task from appearing in the app even though it was visible on the web. ### 1.1.2 — 2026-07-28 More reliable syncing between devices - when you edit a page's content or a task's note on another device (such as a computer), the new version now appears immediately when you open the app on your phone. Previously, an older version could be shown by mistake. A clearer task row - the due date and reminder now show with the date too (and the reminder with the time), with a calendar and bell icon. The icons are in a new order, and on small screens they appear in color based on how close the due date is. You can now optionally save a time along with the due date. Without a time, the due date applies to the whole day. The task row now shows both the date and the time (just like for reminders), and the color switches to red exactly at the moment the time passes. For all-day due dates (without a time), the color turns red after midnight. Minor fixes and improvements, mainly in the task display. ### 1.1.0 — 2026-07-27 Taskland Premium is here!
