I have emailed twice with all details so I don’t lose my years of favourites. Trying to navigate the subscription details is atrocious the updated version of the app is NOT user friendly to say the least. Very disappointing ### 2/5 — Move AI tastebud *2026-01-01, version 3.1.5* The amount of times I’ve gone to search something specific and typed into your AI search is insane. Please move this to a different part of the app ### 2/5 — Needs work *2025-07-27, version 3.1.4* Tried the AI, it is terrible, I asked for slices kept giving me sandwiches 😅🤦‍♀️. The general recipe search needs “recipes without” such as egg, nuts etc. Otherwise great range of recipes but I’ll go back to using the free service on the website for now. ### 3/5 — No garlic allergy warnings *2025-04-18, version 3.1.3* My Nan is severely allergic to garlic and just recently she has cooked about half way through an amazing keto dish and then realised that this app had instructed her to add 4 cloves of garlic in which the allergy warnings had not warned her about the garlic and she had wasted her money on something she couldn’t eat, otherwise i totally recommend this app (pls add garlic to your allergy list pls) ### 3/5 — Latest update *2025-03-30, version 3.1.3* Bring back the old cook mode. It never finds what I want so I end up using google. Thanks ### 3/5 — Latest Update *2024-05-28, version 3.0.5* The latest update is fine if you don’t try to read the reviews of recipes that have a lot of reviews. If you do, the app goes crazy and you have to go out of the recipe. I have tried explaining the problem with app support but all they do is send generic messages. It’s like they don’t believe there is a problem with their app at all. Sending a screenshot will not show the problem I am having. Over time I’ve added loads of recipes to my collections, yet on the app, it only shows a max of 50 per collection. Log into the website and all are showing. Have contacted Taste twice to report this with no response so why would I continue to pay for an app that isn’t working? ### 2/5 — Love the recipes but app NEEDS WORK *2024-03-29, version 3.0.4* After a quick read of others reviews (old and new) seems there’s big problems not being addressed. Have been happily subscribing for 5+ years, and hoped the latest update would solve some problems, but some have just been made worse. Firstly - the same as many others - saving a recipe to a cookbook and then looking for it in the cookbook & it’s not there. Frustrating! Secondly - organisation or filter tool in cookbooks would be great. I’d love to be able to sort my recipes alphabetically. Third - since logging into the new app with my old account, I have double ups of cookbooks, but I’m unable to merge them or copy recipes over into the newer one. The look of the new app is nice though, search function is good and recipes are easy to read. I don’t want to stop subscribing, this is a great service that helps me cook awesome dinners for my family. Really hoping these issues are fixed asap, especially when we are paying for it! Whether it is having a recipe in mind or simply wanting to know what I can cook with what I have, I have found the Taste app the most consistent way to find a recipe. I love the favourites button and the ability to save recipes in virtual cookbooks.
