### 2/5 — Activity Tab Removed

*2026-08-20, version 3.333.2*

How in the hell can I update a position on this app?!

### 4/5 — iPad App stopped working

*2026-08-19, version 3.333.2*

This is a great trading platform for options, unfortunately the latest update v3.333.2 stopped working on my iPad running v18.7.10. The App still works on an old iPhone 8 running v16.7.16. I really like this platform and I am still trying to resolve the problem.

### 3/5 — Developers need to incorporate change requests from clients

*2026-08-13, version 3.333.2*

I think TastyTrade UI is the best of any broker. The issue is lagging quotes on occasion and bad fills. In addition, still yet to see an update as promised on % holding. The app has some clear issues relative to competitors (think or swim and interactive brokers)

### 3/5 — Dave1120

*2026-07-21, version 3.309.0*

Needs a better fill speed… It does not fill all the contracts at once sometimes…

### 2/5 — Trade Notifications Only Arrive After Opening the App

*2026-07-20, version 3.309.0*

I’m experiencing a frustrating issue with trade notifications on iPhone.

When I place trades, I don’t receive push notifications while the app is closed or running in the background. Instead, as soon as I open the app, all of the missed notifications start appearing one by one, almost as if they were queued and only delivered after the app became active.

I’ve already:

* Verified that iPhone notifications are fully enabled.
* Deleted and reinstalled the app.
* Confirmed that notification permissions are allowed.

I also use the desktop application, although I’m not sure whether that’s related.

Trade notifications are time-sensitive, so they should arrive immediately when an order is filled or another trade event occurs, not only after opening the app.

### 3/5 — SPX issue

*2026-07-08, version 3.309.0*

Every time I open an SPX options position , doesn’t show up in my list of positions until I restart the app. Can you fix this?

### 4/5 — Feature Request

*2026-07-02, version 3.299.2*

I love price execution and overall format of mobile app.

Can you add feature to have a graph tracking price of an option overtime?

Also add a feature to make an alert on equity persistence even after being triggered so you don’t have to go set the alert after it gets hit the first time?

### 3/5 — Trading restrictions on many stocks

*2026-06-29, version 3.299.2*

I actually like the app and everything works well for me, except for the restrictions they place on trading many stocks that are otherwise perfectly tradable. It’s frustrating because no other broker does this—examples include WEX, LKQ, and many others. I was able to trade PS recently, but this week only closing orders can be executed. It’s ridiculous; they claim you can trade whatever you want, but in reality, you can only trade what the executives decide. I hope they change and improve this situation. Apparently, it’s due to liquidity issues—but only at Tastytrade.

### 2/5 — Trade Notifications and Price Updates Need Fixing

*2026-06-04, version 3.276.1*

Two long-standing issues remain unresolved:

1. Desktop platform: Watchlist and Recent Symbols often show stale prices. The red/green movement indicators update, but the actual price gets stuck, suggesting a caching/refresh issue. I’ve reported this multiple times over the years and usually get told to reinstall the application.
2. Mobile app: I do not receive push notifications when orders are filled while the app is closed. Fill notifications only appear after opening the app, which defeats the purpose of notifications.

Both are basic reliability issues that significantly impact the trading experience.

### 3/5 — Slow refresh rate

*2026-06-02, version 3.276.1*

When an options contract is purchased, the app is often very slow to show the update in Positions. App doesn’t seem to support cash transfer from one internal account to another, which is possible via browser version. Also, it is very cumbersome that app doesn’t update remaining settled cash BP during the day making it very inconvenient for intraday trading.

### 3/5 — The only platform for options

*2026-05-19, version 3.265.1*

Really the best platform for trading options. It’s great. But the fills super suck.

### 1/5 — Bugs

*2026-05-14, version 3.265.0*

They just updated the app and couple days ago and now it’s acting weird. The p/l open now shows all zeros. It is very annoying that when they update the app, sometimes it has more bugs. Thinking of switching

### 1/5 — Not showing individual PL day sum for each stock symbol

*2026-05-13, version 3.265.0*

Not showing individual PL day sum for each stock symbol

### 1/5 — Something wrong since the update on 5/12/26

*2026-05-13, version 3.265.0*

I cannot see my positions and P/L since the update yesterday. I installed the app and reinstalled it and it is still the same. Please fix it asap! I cannot see my positions!

### 1/5 — Update broke it

*2026-05-13, version 3.265.0*

Prices missing from the app under Mrk and Trd Prc, fix required asap before trading day begins

### 3/5 — Please test your app before publishing

*2026-05-12, version 3.265.0*

It happened once again after today’s
update. Almost all columns show zeros for geeks if you collapse the columns but work fine if you expand them. It’s a so obvious bug. Please test your app before publishing. Traders don’t need the flashy new features but a stable trading platform

### 3/5 — Bitter sweet

*2026-05-04, version 3.253.2*

Although a great app for visual analysis of options trades, the IPad & Desktop apps lack any decent charting , trading tools. It also crashes a lot when you use the ACTIVE mode. Lastly, the watchlists disappear randomly when changing them . Honestly cant understand how it’s rated so high. It’s really nothing special compared to Think or Swim mobile or motive wave .

### 3/5 — Timeouts

*2026-04-30, version 3.253.2*

This a great app, however the constant session expiration and forced re-authentication is crazy. Despite requesting a session timeout of more than 4 hours multiple times, the developer has never seemed interested in making the change. Even with the 4 hours max setting there are often times where you are prompted for credentials before that time has expired. TOS gives you a full 24 hours and works.

The brokerage is another reason I only gave it 3 starts. When Tom and Scott departed, users lost a customer facing part of the business that cannot and has not been replaced. They were human, they were touchable and they were always available to help.

Example, Tasty consistently has higher buying power requirements vs other brokers for products that we all trade every day. When Scott was around, I could reach out to him and explain the difference. He would work with the risk team and Apex and get it resolved. Since Scott has departed, I’ve attempted the same. Now, I get a response that says there is nothing that can be done and blame is shifted to Apex. Something can be done, you just don’t want to or don’t know how to fix the issue.

### 1/5 — Constant “new version updates”

*2026-08-18, version 3.333.2*

There are constant new version updates. They had an “update” on back to back days. For some reason I always dread the updates in case something goes wrong. Of course that dread came true.
I performed the update then my iPad was no longer able to up my account without shutting down. I performed every “fix” recommended by google but no luck.
I sent an email to the tech team. I got a thank you response and told their working on it. Two days later, still not resolved. Sent another email and was told, “should be rolled out this week”…..come on guys! Trading on your website is a sheet show. I’m trading high 6 figures. “Should be rolled out this week” after you did something to screw it up isn’t good enough!

### 1/5 — Trade Notifications Only Arrive After Opening the App

*2026-08-13, version 3.333.2*

What a buggy update. Looks like developers are testers also. With so many navigation issues this is a joke of an update. And forcing the tastylive tab on us while removing the option to customize is a big no.

### 1/5 — Outgoing transfers down

*2026-08-10, version 3.323.2*

After weeks of not being able to make any outgoing crypto transactions I’m forced to leave it where it is rather than sell for a loss just so I can get my money out of tastytrade.

Seriously how long is this going to take to fix?

### 1/5 — New update

*2026-08-04, version 3.323.2*

The latest update removed the activity tab at the bottom of the app.

### 1/5 — Awful experience

*2026-07-22, version 3.309.0*

Multiple U/I issues, waited over 1/2 for customer support. Avoid this one.

### 1/5 — Not user friendly

*2026-07-21, version 3.309.0*

The app is really difficult to navigate on mobile. I am having issues trying to sell my shares it’s too much steps to go through. Just like Robinhood which is the reason why I switched from them

### 1/5 — Orders don’t update

*2026-06-04, version 3.276.1*

I see multiple pending orders that I changed and that were either canceled or filled. This bug is only on the iOS platform.

### 1/5 — Last update broken

*2026-06-02, version 3.276.1*

The last update broke the app. It doesn’t get past quote streamer now.

### 1/5 — Non functional app on iPhone

*2026-05-27, version 3.265.1*

The app requires a third part service Junior to verify identity when opening an account. iPhone won’t allow access to Julio to upload verification documents. Complete fail.

### 1/5 — Terrible on every level

*2026-05-14, version 3.265.1*

This app and the website constantly has issues. Don’t keep any serious amount of money here because at some point you won’t have access to it and they will provide no help whatsoever

### 5/5 — Been w/ them since day 1

*2026-03-31, version 3.234.0*

Best app for options trading. TOS is better for depth of information and their charts are much better so I still have them around. But as for trade execution tasty is the best.

### 5/5 — A marvel of engineering

*2025-12-30, version 3.150.0*

I’m constantly amazed by how good this app is. The things it’s able to do on mobile.
Anytime, I find a rough edge of any sort, it’s in some feature that no other app developer would even try implementing on mobile. And tasty has managed to get it 99% of the way there. It’s also a really good brokerage. Very forgiving about option assignment. And a friendly trading desk who will close out your spread the next morning if you get early assigned. Would recommend.

### 5/5 — Best platform!

*2025-12-19, version 3.150.0*

Constructive feedback- focus on a tab solely on account performance coupled with daily, weekly, monthly gains/losses charts. As a trader, this will really help me analyze the output of my trading activities.
