Worst part is even after providing my RC card details, previous policy details and successful completion of vehicle self inspection still these illiterates have sent the same wrong copy to my address after two months. I have already lodged complaint in consumer forum. All after market customer care services from Tata in any trivial field is useless. They are simply fostering worthless donkeys in their company. Sooner this company will decline. My curses ### 1/5 — Claim Settlement Delayed for Over a Month – No Support or Updates *2026-05-12* Worst app and extremely poor customer support from Tata. I met with an accident last month and raised an insurance claim. Since the garage was not listed under cashless garages, I had to pay the entire amount upfront assuming the reimbursement would be settled within a week. However, it has been more than a month and there is still no proper update on my claim. I raised 3 service requests, but all of them were automatically closed without anyone even contacting me. The app does not provide any meaningful status updates, and there is no proper customer care number available to speak with someone directly. This has been a very frustrating experience during an already stressful situation. I expected much better service and support from Tata. Definitely not renewing this service again. ### 1/5 — Poor and unethical service *2026-04-23* I am writing to formally express my disappointment and file a complaint regarding my recent insurance claim under my Tata AIA insurance policy. I have been paying my policy responsibly and I have taken the policy with the expectation of full support during the claim process. However, when we submitted our claim, the company rejected some parts of it. After that, a person handling the process asked for a bribe of **₹500** to “pass” the remaining claim and clear it fully. I strongly feel this is unethical and unacceptable. This has caused significant stress and a very poor experience for me. I request you to: 1. **Review the rejected parts of my claim** and reconsider the decision based on the documents and facts submitted. 2. **Investigate the incident** where a payment/bribe was requested to approve the claim. 3. **Confirm the status** of my claim and inform me of the next steps in writing. Just an average working employee. TATA AIG will fool the hell put of you. I have taken comprehensive plan which covers everything. My car met with a minor accident. TATA Aig sent surveyor after surveyor to check the car 4 times. And i say it literally. Still no conclusion and no approval. And second hand cars never buy insurance from this company. I am warning you. Finally after 1 month of my car sitting in service center i took my car out without any repairs because service centers charge exorbitant fees. Best Regards. ### 1/5 — Poor response from TATA AIG Insurance *2026-01-15* Tata AIG claims that it has network garage where 2 wheeler claims will be done cashless but when you call to network garage they say it is for 4 wheeler and not for 2 wheeler claim so you have to pay from your pocket and get the reimbursement. I had registered claim against my motor vehicle insurance but from last 5 days no surveyor has visited. Even though the company provide surveyor contact number but they do not pick up your call at any time and will neither respond to you. I have called customer care also but they also have certain limitations due to which cant resolve the problem. So to conclude there is very poor response and now I dont see any sign of response and find myself helpless. Please look before going ahead or before porting for TATA AIG as your insurance partner. ### 1/5 — The worst possible insurance in my 10 years of vehicle insurance *2026-01-04* Please do not fall for the trap, first they give you an estimate of 27k for renewal of policy, and within a week the amount doubles to 55k, because of a claim that was made, What is the point of insurance then? What is the point of a fixed premium then? Worst is customer care, firstly they make u call and wait for half an hour, they say they will transfer my call to Discount section after explaining me that the claim amount has been increased because of claim. The discount section call never gets transferred, they make u to wait so that u loose patience, and since insurance is mandatory and renewal date is near we are forced to pay the amount without any explaination. My family obtained insurance from Tata AIG last year through Policy Bazaar, which I now consider another questionable company. At the end of the first year of our policy, I applied for the free annual health checkup for both my wife and me, as this was included in our plan. However, Tata AIG could not find a suitable lab in my area, despite several well-known options being available. Eventually, Policy Bazaar decided that I could conduct the tests myself and claim reimbursement for the expenses by submitting the necessary documents. I successfully uploaded all required documents on the Tata AIG app and waited about a week for a response. When I checked the app for updates and found that my claim had not been registered due to one document failing to upload, I re-uploaded that document and registered the claim. However, when I attempted to upload the same document for my wife, the app kept crashing. Furthermore, I received an email from Tata AIG questioning why I did not use the cashless option for the tests. I was confused since Tata AIG was unaware that I had previously been instructed to conduct the tests myself and seek reimbursement. I forwarded them the email they had sent me. Unfortunately, I still cannot upload my wife’s document on the app. It seems that many insurance companies in India behave unethically. I believe it is better to invest money in SIPs or mutual funds and withdraw them in times of emergency instead of paying annual premiums to these companies. ### 1/5 — Worst ever insurance service.. *2025-06-19* Tata AIG Insurance ,The Most Pathetic and Mentally Draining Experience of My Life I’ve never felt so cheated, insulted, and mentally harassed in my life as I did while dealing with Tata AIG Insurance for the claim on my Mahindra Thar. I own multiple cars and have dealt with other insurers before but this was by far the worst, most unprofessional, and emotionally draining experience ever. From the moment I initiated the claim, Tata AIG made sure to turn a basic process into a complete circus. I was made to run pillar to post, visiting their office countless times, only to be met with vague responses, careless attitude, and a clear intention to stall the process. It wasn’t just poor service it felt like systematic harassment. The person in charge, Sarvesh Saini, was the biggest disappointment. Instead of helping, he rejected my claim using some ridiculous excuse related to satisfaction VR just so they could mark their process as “resolved” and boost their own fake internal ratings. It was a clear cover-up, with zero accountability and absolutely no intention of supporting the customer. The entire ordeal felt like a trap, designed to frustrate you enough to give up. I was treated not like a customer, but like a nuisance. The lack of empathy, transparency, and ethics was appalling. Tata AIG doesn’t care about people only about looking good on paper. I will never insure a single vehicle with Tata AIG again, and I strongly urge others to stay far away from them. If you value your peace of mind, don’t even think of dealing with these people. They don’t solve problems they create them. This wasn’t just an inconvenience it was a blatant betrayal of trust. I urgently need to get blood tests done, and due to the app’s failure, I am now left with no option but to book the tests privately and pay out of pocket. This defeats the entire purpose of having a health insurance policy if I have to bear medical expenses myself, especially for services that are supposed to be covered under the policy.
