AI, tools and FAQs are a weak attempt to answer and solve problems outside of those DIY solutions. Give me a phone number, an email address. You have already ignored my support requests. I have been using the previous iterations of this app for years and the current version has been nothing short of a headache, my bookkeeper is recommending other digital release form apps and I am seriously considering it. ### 2/5 — Update??? *2025-04-28* This app updated and I lost access to all previous forms and client info. I just had a client fill this out, and after it was finished, it says I have no available forms. So I press ‘save for later’, which I guess is now a feature that is ‘coming soon’. So I can’t buy more forms, even though I already had paid for many forms on the previous version of this app. Now I have to delete this whole client form just so I can get back to the screen to purchase more forms. This has been such a huge pain. ### 2/5 — What happened? *2025-03-24* I’ve been using this app for years up until a few days ago when it apparently updated, deleting EVERYTHING! I can’t log back into my google drive and Im probably going to have to go back to paper because I can’t get logged in. It also happened the day the Health Department was doing a routine inspection and I had nothing to show for myself and left completely confused and on the verge of being fined by the HD. I don’t mind the new look, and everything seems more streamlined, but it doesn’t matter if I can’t access my clientele’s information for the Health Department to look at. ### 2/5 — Used to love this app *2025-03-17* Same problem as other reviewers had. Without my knowledge, the app was updated, I thought it was an unknown app on my iPad?! I filled out all of the required info just to find..All of my client’s information was wiped and I tried to reach out to get help on the matter but the email address wasn’t valid so… no one to contact. The app was amazing and now, it’s frustrating. Glad the camera finally works but where are all of my clients forms for the past 3+ years?? It looks pretty but there was nothing wrong with the old format, never had a problem until the update. Sigh. ### 2/5 — More editing required *2025-03-13* Without my knowledge, this app has been updated, and none of my information from the previous model was carried over. I have followed all of the steps filled out all of the information required to move forward. One of my biggest pet peeves is when an app tells me I need to fill out all of the information to move forward but does not tell me what information is missing a simple star or a highlighted area would make the process much easier. I have gone page by page question by question and still the updated app is telling me that I must fill out all areas before moving forward and there’s nothing else to move forward with. I now have to reschedule clients because the app is missing information somehow. Not cool! ### 2/5 — Update erased everything. *2025-03-12, version 3.0.1* This new update erased everything. All studio forms and information, gone. Now says certificate not verified and won’t let me finish setting up. Just bought forms for 3ipads and have the yearly subscription…. It has been consistently crashing for 4 months now when looking up previous forms. Difficult to navigate and not worth purchasing any more forms. They want access and control over all your cloud files. Sorry, that is not something that I will do. Just the option of male, female, or private is offensive to some. At least change private to other?? Why would you use the word private? People who identify is non-binary or gender fluid shouldn’t need to keep that information private. I want to use this app but don’t feel comfortable giving this to my clients. It would be great to also be able to add in a preferred pronouns section in the bio. Again, great app, poorly thought out wording with no option to change it. I’ve tried logging in multiple different ways. This type of downfall leads my business suffering. Leaves us in legal situations. The old app was amazing, needed no changing. They force updated this and lost ALL our info in the process. This greatly affects my ability to run my business. It takes them sometimes 20 minutes to fill out, then half the time the app freezes. You can’t save all the options for your shop across different iPads… you have to adjust them separately. The interface is customizable and intuitive, the integration with cloud and email services allows you to send clients their release forms and maintain client databases, and the customer service is superb. This app will completely change how you handle release forms, to say nothing of the space and materials saved. Tattooer made, too! ### 5/5 — Easy to use and saves money, paper and time! *2015-09-07, version 1.21* I've been using this app for quite some time, and it just keeps getting better! The developers are super responsive to feedback and questions and continue to add new features. The forms are super easy to fill out. Clients of all ages have no problem figuring out the interface. I just put the iPad in front of them and go pour my inks. It takes a picture of their ID, they fill in all of their information, and I get a chance to make notes in the artist section when they're done. No more photocopying driver's licenses, no more endless filing cabinets of paper forms that I have to store for years. Our BOH requires a new release form for every session, so I love that the returning clients can search for themselves and just sign again, which creates a whole new form for that day. This app also works offline, so I'm able to use it even when I'm traveling to conventions and have no internet access. It just stores the forms and uploads them the next time I hit wifi. This app is like the last piece of the digital business puzzle. I can answer client emails, draw client artwork, make super clean patterns, take client release forms and accept payment on one iPad.
