After packing&ship It generally takes two weeks or more until delivery— NOT good for beer to freeze ( winter) or sit in hot trucks/ warehouses (summer). Almost EVERY shipment experiences some ‘unexpected delay’. Have had an entire shipment lost, another time received someone else’s shipment, never got ours ( did get refunded to their credit). Boxes always arrive with some damage, sometimes dented cans, occasionally get a wrong item in the shipment. Living in a rural “beer desert,” I used to rely on stocking up during trips to bigger cities, grabbing whatever singles and bombers I could find spending hundreds at a time on anything I could find and filling up my fridge just to stock it and letting things go bad before I could get to them. Now I have access to a huge variety of high-quality beers on demand, including rare and hard-to-find options I’d otherwise never get without planning an expensive trip. The pricing is very fair, usually only a couple dollars more per can or bottle than retail, and the flat $15 shipping fee is a huge plus no matter how much you order. My favorite feature is the ability to hold and extend shipments. Being able to bundle everything into one box every few months fits my budget and schedule perfectly, though it’s great that more frequent deliveries are an option too. If I had one small critique, it would be that pre-order arrival estimates can be a bit inconsistent. That said, it’s a minor issue compared to everything the app gets right. The selection is constantly rotating, and they do a good job bringing in beers from top breweries across the country. The crate system is a little different at first, but once you understand it, it’s actually a smart way to manage shipping costs. I like being able to build a box over time and choose when to ship. The app itself is easy to use, and the descriptions are helpful, especially when you’re trying to decide between similar beers. It’s also fun discovering new breweries and styles I wouldn’t normally try. Only downside is it can get expensive if you’re not careful.
