Notifications now speak your language Every notification — and the dates inside it — now arrives in the language you chose, across all 11 languages the app supports. Sensitive updates stay discreet on your lock screen. Report cards The term filter now lists your school's terms. A report card your family already has can no longer be withdrawn by accident, and if a school corrects one, you're told it was updated. Faster, more honest screens A screen that can't load now says so immediately instead of leaving you waiting. Signing in again is no longer suggested when the real problem is a lost connection. Also: German wording corrected throughout, and the Academic Calendar card now opens the year it's telling you about. ### 2.2.0 — 2026-07-26 Reports, now on mobile. Fees & billing • Per-term fees can now be created, and billing schedules run correctly against the current academic year. • Award scholarships to any student directly from Fee Settings. • Invoice filters (year, term, grade, class) work as expected. Seating plans • Building a seating plan no longer loses students when adding seats. • Removing a seat returns the student to the unassigned list. • Teachers can mark attendance from the seating plan, including late arrivals. Report cards • Students and guardians can now download their published report cards. Also in this release • Homework submitted on time no longer appears overdue. • Merit filters, attendance figures, and dashboard counts now match across screens. • Break periods appear on the timetable. • Many layout fixes for long names and titles. • Improved privacy: seating plans are no longer visible to guardians. ### 2.0.0 — 2026-07-13 Tawaasal 2.0.0 — a brand-new look, made for schools. THREAD & INK DESIGN The whole app has been redrawn in our new identity: warm paper in the day, deep ink at night, stitched details, and Arabic-first typography that looks right in every language. Your dashboard now opens with a personal letterhead and a "Needs attention" list that quietly escalates when something really needs you. GLOBAL SEARCH One search finds everything you're allowed to see — people, homework, announcements, events, classes, messages and more — grouped by category with your match highlighted. Improved • Admins can now manage assessments and mark attendance directly from the app; teachers get a dedicated "Enter Grades" action and class/subject/term analytics filters. • Messaging: archive and unarchive, delete a conversation, threads open at the newest message, and timestamps show in your local time. • Homework is more reliable everywhere — consistent status and due counts, no more false "overdue," and submission attachments are visible and downloadable. • Attendance and leave: future dates are blocked, the right people are notified, and you can see who marked attendance.
