## What is Tax Calculator?

Tax Calculator is an ordinary calculator with no ads. Tap "Tax In" or "Tax Out" to add or remove Japanese consumption tax, and the formula you typed stays on screen.

NO ADS
No full-screen ads, no banners, no ads with sound. The same in the free version.

FAST AND STABLE
Built only with Apple's standard frameworks, no ad or third-party SDKs. It opens instantly and is updated for each new iOS version.

TAX IN ONE TAP
- "Tax In" gives the price with tax, "Tax Out" gives the price without tax
- Switch between 10% and 8% rates with one button
- The tax amount is always shown ("Tax ¥100")
- Add tax to a total: "500 + 500 Tax In" works
- Fractions of a yen: round down, half up or round up

VISIBLE FORMULA, EXACT RESULTS
- The formula (1,200 + 800 × 2 =) stays at the top
- 2.3 × 3 = 6.9 and 0.1 + 0.2 = 0.3, no floating-point surprises
- Calculates left to right like a desk calculator by default; switch to "× ÷ first" in Settings
- The % key works like a desk calculator (100 + 10% = 110, 200 × 10% = 20)
- Thousands separators, a 00 key and repeat equals (5 × 3 = = gives 45)

THREE LEVELS OF CLEAR
Backspace deletes one character, long-press clears the current number, AC clears everything. No confirmation dialogs.

HISTORY
Every "=" is saved with its formula. Tap a row to reuse the result or re-edit the formula.

WIDGET
Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets show your last result and formula. Tap to open the app.

FREE AND PRO (ONE-TIME ¥500, NO SUBSCRIPTION)
Free: every calculation feature above, history of the last 20 entries
Pro: unlimited history, running total bar, labels on history entries, custom tax rates
Pay once. No further payments and no ads, ever.

Note: this is not a scientific calculator (no square root, fractions or trigonometry). It is made for shopping, office work and estimates.
