I have been using them to file my taxes for at least 25 years. This web app does not display documents well and is impossible to navigate. Using the web interface in the mobile browser is far more effective. - E.G. The app should be able to rotate when there is a document that is trying to wrap a second column and only fits like 10 chars. ### 2/5 — TaxAct let me down! *2026-04-16, version 1.2.8* I know I shouldn’t have waited until the last minute but, at 11:45PM on 4/15/2026, tried to file my return. TaxAct told me I had to complete the final steps again. And again, and again, until I was FINALLY able to file it at 12:08AM on 4/16/2026. I hope I don’t hear from the IRS about late filing. (Of course I ended up submitting my taxes through TaxAct) That was all the confirmation I needed. TaxAct makes the entire process incredibly simple: step-by-step, clear, and completely self-explanatory, almost like just filling in the blanks. It even pulls all my information from the previous year, which saves so much time. I love that! The experience is always smooth, fast, and stress-free.
