You can only upload files one at a time, and only through the mobile app—there’s no desktop version. I store all my documents in OneDrive, but the app often fails to let me select any files. I have to close and reopen it multiple times before it finally works. What should take 2 minutes ends up taking 4 hours and a lot of unnecessary frustration. ### 1/5 — Buggy *2025-03-02, version 24.2* This app logged me out a few days ago and hasn’t allowed me to long in ever since. ### 1/5 — Username and Password *2025-02-17, version 24.1* No matter how many times you put in the correct information, the app will say it’s incorrect. No matter how many times you create a new password and seconds later and use it, the app would still say it’s wrong. This app does not provide you with a copy of your return once you submit it to the IRS. Once you click “view return” it only shows the information you provided to the preparer and not what the preparer electronically submitted to the IRS. This app does not store your previous tax year information like Turbo Tax does. The app is pretty useless and I’m so aggravated that I have to go back to my CPA to get something that should and could have been made available thru the app ### 1/5 — Worst app!! *2025-02-04, version 24.1* Unable to delete documents I previously uploaded! Unable to delete account with personal information stored!!!!! ### 1/5 — Updates DO NOT work *2025-02-04, version 24.1* Once anything is added to the app, it can NOT be changed, deleted or edited. It states you can update items for your prepared but it does NOT allow you to. I was unable to view my edited return from my preparer which caused a MAJOR delay in submitting my return to the IRS. I had to wait for it to be emailed to me, print it off, sign and then me upload it to the app. It stated in the new update, you can delete your account, this is NOT true either. It gives you an error stating unable to delete. I see why it has 3 stars overall. ### 1/5 — Verification *2025-01-29, version 24.1* I won’t allow you to change your phone number, it’s sending the verification code to my old number. It should have 2 ways to verify, either use an email or phone number like TaxOfficeManagement does. ### 2/5 — App Glitches *2025-01-08, version 24.1* I cannot count on how many hands this app has consistently made me change my password and glitched on me to log out because an old number is attached to it. She does not respond nor conduct business right, through this ap. I can’t delete none of my documents and there is no update about any of your personal information. Only email I found online was to a support center. Don’t even have an option anywhere to download. ### 1/5 — App Has So Many Bugs That It Is Unusable *2025-04-30, version 24.2* Taxslayer Pro crashed while I was retrieving documents from Taxes To Go. I couldn’t retrieve documents from Taxes To Go after this occurred. It took over 24 hours to correct this since it required intervention by the develop team to correct the problem. There are days in the off season when you can’t use Taxes To Go. This is very inconvenient. Yesterday, my clients’ signatures were pulling into form 8879, but were not registered pulling into their 1040 even though Taxes To Go indicated both were signed. Support was able to correct this. ### 1/5 — Cannot contact customer service *2025-04-12, version 24.2* My tax expert asked me to upload my documents. I uploaded all of my documents and she can’t see them. I then went on their website to try to find a way to service no email or phone number is listed. So then I try to delete the documents. To my surprise, I am unable to delete. ### 1/5 — Tax Dome is a better alternative *2025-03-17, version 24.2* This taxes to go app does not let you do something as simple as customize the names of the files you are uploading. It makes it inefficient and cumbersome for the end user. Especially for those who have to provide lots of different documents. When downloading documents, the document name needs to be customize-able.
