I was personally verbally yelled at by a taxi driver at atlas he was very rude, impolite and had not manners whatsoever on top of that another one kicked me out the car, i would NEVER recommend them to anyone!

Atlas is a bad taxi service. I’ve used it a lot and never liked them. 

Like the one time where he took the long way and charged me $200. 

And the other time where he smoked inside. It’s ridiculous. You might as well want to take an Uber. 

They are dangerous drivers as well bad they’re reckless. Where he ran a red light and drove 65 mph in a 40 mph zone as I took it on my way home from youth protection court downtown.

Constantly requires a phone call (app searches for driver forever) but is so poorly designed that you can’t just click the number - you have to leave the app and dial manually. Why bother?

Just installed the latest update, trying to set my location, even though I'm pointing the cursor exactly  at my location based on Google maps, it's always one street offside, even when entering the address manually, it's 2 streets off, seriously??

The latest version is an improvement... but I don’t know why they can’t build something intuitive and user friendly.

The app is handy but would be even better if it would allow prebooking of a car when I have to go to the airport super-early.

The app isn’t the problem.  You submit the ride, but the driver doesn’t even start moving for maybe 5-10 minutes. 

If you want to be competitive with Uber, tell your drivers to get going as soon as they accept the booking.  Sometimes I think they go for lunch or a smoke after accepting.  If they have other plans, let another driver pick up.  

It makes me crazed to watch them sit wherever for 5 minutes after accepting the booking.
